Anyhow it's largely irrelevant, we obviously won't be meeting them this year in the league. Our form last year was a bit inconsistent I thought, the Wicklow game early in the league was a killer, Mark Jackson bet us on his own. That game could have set us up for a shot at promotion had we won and I thought at points it was achievable. We cannot give away any handy frees around the 45 if we're to have any chance of taking Wicklow next time out. There will be no easy games in Division 4 (as always) and as much as I would want Leitrim to get promotion, I think it's going to be a hard ask. The problem we have is that we're limited enough with the panel we have, as in strength in depth, and it's not realistic for us to go a full season without lads picking up injuries. If we don't get promoted, you'd have to wonder how long more Poacher will stay around. The pressure will be on him as well as he will want to leave a mark with a promotion to bring to his next job. Disappointing. ." We had no hoop for over 20 years at one point but I agree I preferred the hoop. Its not too bad, I dont mind the darker green. We didn't that's true, but at times we had a chunk of gold on the sleeves or collar etc. Just not a fan of this after getting the hoops back, looks no different to Limerick or our neighbours Fermanagh now, looks like a training top.
