We as Westmeath Hurling supporters have been here before blowing up teams and getting them complacent,i myself have been guilty of this too. They must remain focused and prepared for the task at hand with the team they are playing, nothing comes easy in this Leinster championship (wexford team performances have improved again after getting rid of their split championships). its arguably a stronger championship than its Munster counterpart at the moment. I have no doubt LLG will remain focused but at the end of the day it was still just a challenge game, we must not get carried away with it. They are doing their best to prepare for it, they would be forgiven if they didnt give it much focus especially after winning a first county title since 2002, there's been huge celebrations however they having knuckled down and are putting in the work.
