Great fight back from fenagh led by wrynn who got the ball rolling with a fabulous two pointer and then a brilliant pass to setup the 2nd goal. Having watched both semis I would favour fenagh in the final

Great weekend for football and the right result in both semi finals. Bit of pressure now on Fenagh to do it. Losing to their near neighbour in a final would be disastrous and hard to stomach for wan.

Huge weight off them lads to even get to a final, irregardless of the final result.

Sean O 'Heslin's will go in as favourites but expect Fenagh to give a good account of themselves and run them close.

As was the case yesterday, SOH bench could be the difference.

BSOH's bench won it - diabolical stuff up to that point. Mohill were great for 45mins but it's over 60 as they say.

Very impressed with Fenagh - I certainly take back what I said, worthy winners in the end.
And I definitely take back that the winner was from Saturday, from what I seen the best game was Sunday.

Fenagh have a free shot now, they're under pressure certainly, but nothing compared to the pressure Ballinamore will be under. 3 finals in a row now and 2 lossess, this one being from their closest neighbours and of course former 2 time manager.

I actually have Fenagh for this, and I kind of hope they do too.

That was some weekend of football,thought Mohill would of taken ballinamore,but ballinamore played smart football,and there bench helped them over the line,two great subs to bring on in Mckeon and Mckiernan,Mckeon broke up midfield and Mckiernan running very direct and hard stopped,ballinamore have a mighty forward line like Fenagh,think myself Leitrim Gaels threw it away but the believe in Fenagh was brilliant to see and some great scores from Wrynn and o Rourke,I should be a great final and one I'm looking very forward too.im still going to give ballinamore the nod over fenagh,don't think anyone would begrudge either team a lifting the cup

Mohill will be ruing letting Ballinamore back into the game on Saturday, 6 points up and let a trickly aul shot in. Honeyman gets a two pointer straight after and from that point on the result was inevitable. SOH fairly uninspiring up to that point

What a game between LM Gaels and Fenagh, could've went either way. Park Sean seems to have a massive wind blowing right down the field every game that's played there. It causes one team to have to be conservative for 30 mins and balls to the wall for 30 mins, depending on which way the toss goes. I know we can't control nature but I never noticed this to be as big of an issue until they removed all the trees on the Old Stand side. Anyone else notice this?

Weekend Predictions:

Senior
FENAGH vs BALLINAMORE - FENAGH

Going by both teams on paper I'm giving this to Fenagh, but Bmore have been in plenty of county finals in recent years and won't go into the game with as much pressure and nerves as the Fenagh men which could make a big difference. Fenagh have the better 1-15 but bmore have a better panel. Can the Ballinamore defence handle Ryan, Riordan, Fergal, Oisin and Ruairi, LM Gaels did a good job at it for 45 mins +. Tom Prior and Honeyman need to have a stormer for Bmore to win. Can see Conall McGovern been given the task of following Prior and Caillan O Rourke on Honeyman. I think Fenagh could just shade this game but not comfortably.

Intermediate
AUGHAVAS vs DROMAHAIR - AUGHAVAS

Not much between these sides. I think Dromahair looked brilliant with the wind at their backs against a poor Gortlettragh side, their forwards were on fire. On the flip side, Dromahair were poor defensively against the breeze in 2nd half and if Jack Heslin had any help, they could've bet them. Haven't seen much of Aughavas... but they do have dangerous forwards and if McBrien has the shooting boots on it'll go a long way to putting Aughavas in a final.

MELVIN GAELS vs ANNADUFF - MELVIN GAELS

There is rumours Darragh Rooney is going to be back from his shoulder injury but will be heavily strapped. If he plays any part in this game, he has to potential to win it on his own. Conor Reynolds you'd imagine would be tasked with marking him who we know from the county is a tight marker. In the Annaduff camp the talk is that Darren Cox went off injured in the last game they played, and hasn't togged since. If this is the same injury that kept him out of the county panel it's worrying for next season in Div4. With the 3 McGloins, Rooney and that Brennan lad in the corner I think Melvin Gaels just have that bit more quality but it will be tight no doubt.

Junior A
MOHILL B vs GLENFARNE - Mohill B

It would be a crying shame to see Glenfarne go down to Junior B, but it is a real possibility next weekend. Eslin could be along with them next year. It's no dig at both proud clubs but it's just the reality of the population decline in these areas. Ballinaglera in a similar boat. Mohill are down a lot of players that came on in the Senior Semi that would've previously played in this grade, but even at that Bmores B team dismantled Glenfarne by 20 points.
