It was that much of a non contest they had them running the pitch while the trophy was being presented!

What's the predictions for the weekend?
Starting Friday you'd have to fancy Harps Toome and Killeevan. On Saturday Truagh and Castleblaney, 2 poorly coached teams so could go either way. Rock Ballybay and I'll go with Clontibret but a tricky one to call. Aghabog D'moyne Scotstown Clones Blackhill and Inniskeen should all be big favourites on Sunday.

No, red cards are only for the same competition so he will be suspended for league next year

Replying To MonGaa123:  "Well done to Scotstoon, killanny and drummhowan today. Scotsmen will take some beating in the championship considering they had a second string team out today in the league final.
Killanny are a dogged team that have proved themselves as winners. Aughnamullen lacked that bit of experience. Can't see them back in senior anytime soon.
Drumhowan back to intermediate next year and don't be surprised if they give the intermediate championship a good rattle next year as they are a fantastic team that could be senior in a few years. Toome conceded too many goals. They were a lot tighter Defensively last year under the leadership of Fra Mcphillips who is a good defensive coach."
This years Toome team is very depleted from other years can see them really struggling come championship. They lost a few more men last weekend and bench just isn't there if anything happens Wilson they can pack it up for the year

Be interesting to see how Drumhowan and Kilanny play now in the champiosnhip. Promotion already secured will they take the foot off the gas or could they even improve since less pressure on them

Can see Drumhowan pushing on to try give Ulster a rattle. Speaking to a few of them and they felt they left a great chance behind them a few years ago losing a semi final on penalties

You would wonder if any of the other senior clubs have a real belief they can topple them and who would blame them, a team that won ulster last year and will probably have all those lads available again plus a few more youngsters. Are Inniskeen the only potential challenger? Bookies seem to have it that way.

Clontibret seem to be the only team that has had their number in a long time but still think Scotstown are miles ahead.

A lot depends on Beggans availability but I can see him coming back for 2nd or 3rd championship game and steady the ship for them.

If that turns out to be true, it won't be in the next 5/7 years when you look at the two teams. Scots has 6-7 senior co players, Blayney has 2.

Scotstown won the league without Beggan, McCarron, 2 x Hughes etc They have Meehan back and brought in Keenan, Gallagher, Foley, McElwaine and McCaffrey along with Finely and Darcy Foy. There will be players outside the 24 with 6/7 county medals not getting a look in.

There forwards are

McCarron
Mattie Maguire
Francis Maguire
McElwaine
Mallon
Max Maguire
Shane Carey
James Hamill
Jason Carey

Defenders
O'Toole
McCarthy
Kieran Hughes
Darren Hughes
McArdle
Connolly
McCaffrey
Meehan
McPhillips

Where do you go picking that team …

I assume you are being sarcastic?
Said it before, once they took Jack it ended the Senior Championship as a contest. As long as Rory and Jack are there they'll continue to dominate. Doesn't matter who's managing Scotstown or any other team. Scotstown have too many good players not to win.
