Why, do you pay more taxes than me or anyone else in the North? In a United Ireland everyone would pay their share.

Genuine question Saynothing.
No antagonism intended,but if/when we do achieve a United Ireland,what with our different histories,will you and other northern catholics see yourselves as one with us free staters or will there still be an element of separation,as there is in the GAA for example where Ulster teams will generally root for one another in big games.

Not really, most Galway people I know want kerry to win tbh,as im sure most Cork people will want Mayo to win.

Although i would personally like to see Mayo end their wait.

Ulster might be a tighter province because they all stick up for one another. It could be bred into us because of outside forces trying to put us down.

Thats my original question though.
Will you continue to stick up for one another in a 32 county republic or will you lose that and consider yourselves unconditionally as one with Irish people south of the border.

We already are at one with our neighbours in Donegal Monaghan and Cavan and look forward to the day when we are a 32 county republic. By the way I take great joy in seeing Armagh and sometimes Derry take a beating.

And I answered it, Ulster teams first. It's not my fault other people from other provinces are so childish and don't shout for their neighbours. Yes, Kerry, Mayo, Cork, Offaly are favourites of mine but everyone to their own.

We pay the same taxes as you but we support all Ulster teams.

Best team won congratulations to Spain. As for Argentina first shot on goal was on 117 mins they can't be happy with that performance.

I had a good friend from Gortin and one of the sure ways to turn him into a raving loon was to say anything at all good about Derry.

A really poor final which reminded me a lot of 1990.
Argentina were involved then as well. They had one world class player, but decided that their best chance of success against a superior opponent (West Germany) would be to needle, kick and ****house their way to penalties.

Spain might not be everyone's cup of tea with the way that they dominate possession and squeeze the life out of the opposition. But they were the only team trying to play football last night, and deserved their win. I read somewhere that they only conceded 10 shots on target across their entire World Cup, resulting in only one goal conceded. That is extraordinary.

Oryazabal has done a decent job up front for them. But if they were to unearth another Butragueno/Raul/Torres/Villa calibre striker, they'd be close to unstoppable.
