Louth's win in the QF was unbelievable - it shouldn't be possible under the new rules. Under the old rules it was possible by getting everyone behind the ball and play on the break. 64 minutes with a man down meant that when they went into the opponents half it was 10 v 11 (plus keeper). When defending it was 10 (plus keeper) v 11. They scored 26 points in these conditions. Remarkable. That's why I think they'll beat Mayo. I think you need to look at that again, the second Kerry midfielder blocks Fenton at the throw up giving Moran an easy opportunity to catch the ball, bizarrely Moran opts to punch the ball forward and Murchan gathers it at pace with a despairing Moran losing ground in the chase. It, in my humble opinion, was one of the great wins of this years championship. As you say, it shouldn't have happened under the new rules. Wish Mayo the best of luck today in normal circumstances it would great to see them in the All Ireland Final after going so far into the Championship when it was unexpected they would be in this position 2 months ago, But Louths journey has been inspirational so for that reason I would like to see Louth tog out and experience the occasion of playing in a All Ireland Senior Football Final. What. A. Win. Wicklow were dead and buried at halftime, their obituaries were written. An absolutely superb second half gives them the win. Calamitous shock, and what a game too. Comeback of the year. Wicklow fans class too. Mad to have them in Sam Maguire, hope they push on now. As for Down, serious questions have to be asked about that second half. Awful, woeful shooting and just looking so leggy and tired. Now Sam Maguire isn't guaranteed again, and they'll have to put some stint in for Division 2. Hammer blow for them.
