Similar to the game against the Dubs last year (minus the result), on its day it's a great venue but a lot does have to go right. Plenty of the criticisms that are thrown at Pearse apply to other stadiums around the country. Shame it isn't close to that full more regularly

At its best, on a proper good day, it's actually better than basically anywhere on the country. Where else do you get let out onto one of the best seaside locations, with the countries liveliest nightlife a half hour walk away. And it's not like those days have been rare recently. Sunday gone, the Dublin game last year, the 2024 Connacht final in the last 3 years Obviously the bad days are very bad. And the traffic is chronic. For a non car user though who might like the social side of things, it's better than basically anywhere on a good day PressureKick (UK) - Posts: 378 - 20/06/2026 00:23:20 2680660 Link 1 |

I'm wondering how it compares to other stadiums for access, say Parch Ui Chaoimh or St Tiernachs Park?

Kerry will be fresh enough after that. Mayo got a few niggles but I thought they didn't look great at times. Will be interesting to see if the games are a bit more competitive tomorrow smallfrank (Galway) - Posts: 600 - 20/06/2026 21:46:35 2680762 Link 0 |

Kerry starting to peak in time for croke park as usual, Mayo were very poor defensively and would probably be out of the championship now if not for a red card Jonnytest (Galway) - Posts: 35 - 21/06/2026 05:34:13 2680803 Link 0 |

Galway would probably be out but for a soft draw every round. The only division one team ye played in Connacht beat ye

Roscommon bate ye out the gate. Why do Mayo wear the Christmas pajama outfit?

The point I was making has eluded you. Stating probabilities is merely speculation and pointless. Mayos second strip really shouldn't be any concern of yours Cumann1 (Mayo) - Posts: 160 - 21/06/2026 12:11:55 2680834 Link 0 |

Galway are the only team I fear in the draw. I think we will take Tyrone Cork and Louth. Not so sure on Galway farneygael3 (Monaghan) - Posts: 720 - 21/06/2026 12:24:08 2680837 Link 0 |

I would imagine the best result for us in the next match would be for monaghan to beat westmeath ,giving us a wider field of possible opponents for the draw tomorrow Knocknadrough (Galway) - Posts: 40 - 21/06/2026 16:17:38 2680889 Link 0 |
