Mentioned this on the Dublin thread, whether it's in PP, CP or out on Lambay Island we need to be seriously up for this.
Another lethargic display like last weekend and our goose will be cooked for the year.

I have faith that there is a kick in us yet.
Time will tell!

'could have scored a goal', 'should have scored a 2 pointer', 'missed a one on one' , 'could have had a 12 point lead'.... all those statements are basically making my point which was that I didn't think we played well in the first half yesterday, if we were playing well those chances would have been taken and we'd have won the game.

If the Parnell Park capacity is 7,300, and there are 3,500 Donegal season tickets to begin with, would the crowd split not essentially be split 50/50?

I don't know if there are rules regarding the venue selected by the home team but if it is in the hands of the Dublin county board to stage the game at parnell park and they do what has that got to do with the Brennan incident which is over and done with

This is a funny one. Dublin have looked terrible in Croker and OK in the regional grounds. Donegal lost narrowly to a very good Cork team and I would be surprised if they let themselves get ambushed next week again, unless its just not in the legs. If they are tired Dublin could run them into the ground but Dublin dont have the advantage of having a lot of 2 pointer specialists. Ger will be studying the Down and Cork games I am sure.

It has been a funny year for results hasnt it? The only results I have been able to predict are the Kildare ones. We are the most consistent team in the country, and nobody can take that away from us!

Dublin are not in decline they're in transition and Dublin have never refused to play in Parnell park they've always played where they were told to play by the Gaa, get your facts right bud !

Maybe you should have a KitKat? Bud.

This is all of Dublins making. Croke Park is now clearly far too big for them. Parnell Park will always be too small.

Why didn't they build a nice 25k stadium somewhere? Problem solved.

Call it the Coddle Memorial Stadium or something.

That's early. Not sure why they didn't schedule the hurling for 4pm.

Game in croke park, best draw that Donegal could have wished for, got the weakest team left and get a run out in croke park.
Kerry and Armagh will be do or die, it should be a cracker and the losers will definitely go out on their shields. the winners could be ripe for the taking the following week, Galway and Tyrone must be licking their lips, they get to sit back and watch the carnage from their armchairs.

Croke Park. At least we can go to it now.

Irrespective of if it was Croke Park or Parnell Park this is it's still a dangerous game. Dublin are clearly on the way down the pecking order but they have a lot of medals in their ranks, still have quality, and still have huge pride in themselves and will bring a lot of fight. It will be an easy dublin dressing room to motivate this week you would imagine with Brennan back.

Hopefully this is one to focus the Donegal minds too.
We need to be at it like we were in Killarney and if we are that if gives us a big chance of moving forward. The bench problems are still live of course and would imagine that whatever about anything else dublin will have plenty of legs for the last quarter.

Dublin love Croke Park when they are going well and their fair weather supporters filling Croke Park. When things aren't going so well Croke Park is like a ghost town with only their real supporters there. Even the seats are in the Dublin colours. Nothing neutral about it.

Cruising in the first half and Cork had no choice but to look for 2 pointers which they hit. While we did loose I think a bit of perspective, we lost by a point. we went a long time without a score. I was surprised that one of the senior lads did not try to engineer a free just to get a score to settle us down.
Cork/Louth/Monaghan all underdogs but fought hard and won, If you are a neutral supporter you would be singing the praises of this years championship.

The Dubs in Croke Park next weekend, fingers crossed I would say a 50;50 game"
Couldn't agree more on atmosphere - really disappointing given the ratio of home v away supporters.

Kildare are very consistent alright. Hope they give flanagan a good go at it. They pulled mcgeeney too early and armagh nearly got rid of him as well. It took him a good few years to turn the armagh ship around.

This last chance qualifier should really be a neutral venue which I suppose strangely could be croke park as well.

But both teams playing in it have lost a game and their should be no advantage afforded to either team. Monaghan vs westmeath in brefnii park, Donegal vs Dublin in clones, mayo vs meath in the Hyde and armagh vs Kerry in portlaoise or even thurles would all bring big crowds. It would be overall fairer for the supporters as well
