It was terrible. As was posted earlier, the striking thing was the lack of large amount of Dublin kids there last weekend. Very few families, and even the hoards of teenagers banging the drums and bodhrans was missing. The atmosphere on the Hill was quite muted. And as someone who goes to club games in Dublin, the attendances in Parnell Park are abysmal most of the time also. The kids and teenagers will lose interest very quickly, if not already….! A hell of a lot more interest in soccer in Dublin. And this is the sport which is on the up by the looks of it.
