It's only stand tickets that are €30. Terrace viewing in Markievicz Park is much better and tickets are €20 there. ShellyGael (Sligo) - Posts: 113 - 09/04/2026 10:07:18 2665375 Link 0 |

I am agreeing with you on the way the GAA is ran.

Those tickets should be 15€ and stand 20€ if done right.

But yet can't resist a dig at people complaining about the cost of tickets and the kicker, coming over to let us know how many games we'll be having this year in the championship. Got it. Square_B (Leitrim) - Posts: 1932 - 09/04/2026 12:22:23 2665405 Link 1 |

Agreed it's gouging but would be good to compare the prices over the years, has the connacht championship tickets for the new stand not always been €30?

There's always a bit of hard hitting and digs and the Leitrim boys can dish it out also. It's championship time. If you win I will be the first to congratulate you and wish you well..

Ros on only two points. A Leitrim win and they'd go through on the head to head as far as I know. Think it's only scoring difference if there was a three way tie. Maybe I'm wrong. Should make for a better game if both teams have something to aim at. Best of luck to all competitors. Love to all.

As Sligo on 2 as well and finished their games score difference decides if Leitrim beat Ros.

If Sligo,Roscommon,Leitrim finish on 2 points who finishes 3rd in the group will be decided on matches between each other than overall scoring difference. So far Roscommon beat Sligo by 10 Sligo beat Leitrim by 2 Scoring difference at the moment. Pardon for looking over the ditch, but have Leitrim a full hand for Sligo game. Can't believe 9/1 odds for this game. giveitlong (Galway) - Posts: 1310 - 10/04/2026 10:33:47 2665535 Link 0 |

If Leitrim win by 6......? Highest scorers? Most goals? Seanfan (Roscommon) - Posts: 469 - 10/04/2026 11:01:52 2665541 Link 0 |

Highest scorers so in other words Leitrim need to win by at least 7. I see Poacher has selected none of the U20s to start against Sligo on Sunday so rested for the match next Wednesday.

Good opportunity for Leitrim Minors to win tonight. Roscommon already into the final makes the match tonight a dead rubber for them. Of the starting 15 that beat Mayo last Friday by 10 points only one is starting tonight and another 3 are named on the bench and the other 11 are given the weekend off. Dead right Blathers. Trust in the process and keep the faith. Big weekend for us all and I wish the very very best to the good footballers of the province of Connacht in the upcoming competition. It's a great time of the year. No time for naysayers or negativity. Love to all.
