Minors well beaten last night. In fairness I think it was said well before this that this years crop were far from a vintage side. yew_tree (Mayo) - Posts: 12009 - 04/04/2026 09:37:43 2664666 Link 0 |

You won it 2022 with Rio Mortimer and a few others. Then won again in 23,24. Galway also have a few of their 2022 minors on their current U20 team, a crop that lost twice to Mayo in Connacht and then beat Mayo in the All-Ireland final in Hyde Park. Your Minors well beaten last night but will be interesting to see how you react to that defeat. This time last year we beat you by 9 points yet you recovered to reach the All-Ireland semi-final. Mortimer was the only one playing in 2022 that's still U20 now so hardly a big factor.

Will Kobe McDonald start the championship for Andy Moran? Looks to be doing the business for the 20s. Might have found his level with the physicality of senior could it be a year too early for him at the senior level? Galwayman67420 (Galway) - Posts: 15 - 04/04/2026 17:44:53 2664738 Link 0 |

Will ye come looking for Shane Moran in the next year or two? He seems to be a top quality coach. Did he ever manage charlestown at any stage? dave1988 (Roscommon) - Posts: 1385 - 04/04/2026 18:44:17 2664748 Link 1 |

Any problems expected next weekend in london? London should probably be seeded to avoid last years provincial finalists in first match, any way that could be made to work? Expertinall (UK) - Posts: 18 - 06/04/2026 09:13:23 2664946 Link 0 |

Plenty of issues around sourcing (or attempting to) tickets alright. Wouldn't expect too much bother on the grass. Andy was part of the panel that got the ET scare in Ruislip in '11 & had his own issues with Leitrim in the NY shootout in '23 so can't imagine him allowing the lads to underestimate the opponents (where the likes of Rafter can cause problems for any side if let). Lots of fellas returning from knocks and niggles that would be delighted to show they're ready for minutes or lads on the periphery fighting hard for a potential spot (even on the 26), so plenty of motivation around the panel there. No. Each Connacht County goes there on a rota basis. Seanfan (Roscommon) - Posts: 456 - 06/04/2026 11:45:22 2664958 Link 1 |
