Swings and roundabouts. Nothing last forever. Galway have hardly been hammering Mayo out the gate either. Can't see Roscommon "clipping" Mayo. It will be a hard fought tight game whoever wins it. You also mentioned Tuam in the Connacht championship….when was it announced that Tuam was back hosting championship games ?

Not when the Connacht champs got drawn to the 'group of death' in 2025 anyway.

How are Galway closer in reality? This debate is really sad actually….which teams comes closer without actually winning it. History only remembers winners.

I don't think Galway of recent years were any closer to Mayo. Mayo certainly got more chances at it. Either way you have to take it when you get there because like everything in life there are no guarantees you'll be back. I might never see Mayo in a final again….

It's time to face the music. Galway haven't had to worry about that mayo team for years. Pardon me on the typo with tuam, the game is in salthill although tuam is the far better venue. I think the mayo backs will struggle hugely against these Roscommon forwards who are among the top forward lines in the country and that is why I think they will get a "clipping"
