Yes saw this at its not just one player. Maybe the bag brings them good luck so i wouldnt judge this too much. Some players have lucky socks etc

Often find it embarrassing when the keeper has to wear a bib one his jersey … looks like lack of planning

It looks Unprofessional and shows no planning. Also seen our new trainer get off the bus in Roscommon wearing a top, not a Monaghan one. Andy Moran always wore Monaghan top to games.

Regarding our assistant manager and the replacement of, while he can't play....... the state he left Antrim & Meath to a lesser extent in would really make you question what the thinking was in his appointment.

They are training since November, don't see the value or benefit a week in the sun will cause. Spend the money on development & Right the year off. MonaghanMan44life (Monaghan) - Posts: 167 - 03/03/2026 11:23:59 2659708 Link 0 |

The holiday abroad is part training and an acknowledgment of gaining promotion in 2025, which is kind of ironic now. farneygael3 (Monaghan) - Posts: 551 - 03/03/2026 11:34:13 2659716 Link 0 |

No it is not. It is a training camp, no more no less.

It's a waste of money, no more no less.

i said it before and ill say it again - if you cant support them at their low dont support them at the highs....let the lads enjoy a perk of committing to the county for a year...especially a hard year - Im personally delighted they get a holiday / training camp - hopefully its a bonding session and brings them closer together MalsBalls (Monaghan) - Posts: 268 - 03/03/2026 12:59:52 2659742 Link 3 |

A lot of bitter bitter men here, the boys are entitled to a week away for all the days out they give us. I have seen years of cribbing and crying over the team and management focusing too heavily on the League and coming a cropper late in championship. Lets see where we lie at the end of June and then we can rightly or wrongly criticise the lads or the set up updafaughs (Monaghan) - Posts: 163 - 03/03/2026 14:06:41 2659763 Link 0 |

Thought there was no money in the county when the Cloghan project has been stopped

I will guarantee you not many of them were standing in the rain in Killarney on Sunday waiting on the gates to open. Most of the whiners on here are johney come latelys who think they are supporting a Premier League soccer team and when a player retires you just go out and buy another one. As for the boyos complaining about Cloghan, I wonder how much any of them have contributed.
