I hope you took my advice. My small speculative punt on Pearses AND large one on Daingean covered by Kiwis.

Hope you had you € down.

Man backs team who were odds on favourites before the game with a handicap then gloats afterwards. The bookies are shaking.

So now that the dust has settled on the Dublin SHC, I have to say I felt for Lucan.

To lose out 1-20 to 0-22 when leading by 2pts on 60minutes was heart breaking for them.
Will they ever get a better chance of winning their maiden Dublin SHC.???

As for Na Fianna - wow, 3 in a row and their 5th final in last 5 year is some achievement.
They fought to the very end and fell over the line.
I actually thought Lucan would equalise in that last passage of play.
But not to be for them.

I dont like to give ref's a hard time but wth - that penalty decision for the Glasnevin men..!!!

Hopefully Lucan can win it next year.

As for NF - an unbeaten season in Dublin and now on to Leinster.
They will need to improve on the performance v Lucan though.

Hopefully we will see some new faces in the Dublin Senior Hurling squad next year.

Leinster club championships now await for Boden & NF - I hope both give a good account of themselves....

He had already given a close in free for Na Fianna and was playing advantage so if second offence occurred inside square is that a penalty or ought he have gone back outside the 21?

Not 100% myself on that, the Church End is the place for controversial penalties, for sure!

They'll qualify. In meantime need to get out of division two. Which will mean beating either or both Clare and Wexford.

Tough away games indeed, but Dublin should be more than capable of getting a result in those 3 fixtures. I'd actually have Dublin as second favs behind KK for Leinster. Ye really need to build on last years AI semi.

Of the 3 - beating the Tribesmen in their own backyard will be the most difficult.

But at least we have the Cats at Home.

We can beat Galway anywhere. Crucial game be the one in Wexford Park which might decide one or both team's fate. Cats at home in game they might not need to win is doable.
