Gooch just because he is not playing with the Louth team does not make him not a good player. There are plenty of good players down through the years who played club football in Louth but did not play with the Louth team for one reason or another.

I never said I wouldn't have him on my team I just said he was in decline.Probably still good enough to get on any club team in this county for couple more years but not as influential anymore.

He has a lot to offer . I'm not sure he's in decline . The Blues have been a bit of a mess since The Pats took them apart in the 2014 semi final .
