Kerry 3/1. . .that is the bet of the week.....I might just get me some of that! So, if Dubs win I wont mind losing a few quid...if Kerry win I'll be 60 quid up...it's no consolation but it just sweetens the pain a tiny bit

Kerry up against it but this game is far from a formality. If Dublin arent focused , the kingdom will punish them. Vishred (Mayo) - Posts: 303 - 22/08/2016 20:53:45 1904634 Link 0 |
Please don't do that, I implore you to give the money to a good charity as opposed as to helping Paddy Power build another gold mansion in the Bahamas

Why would you expect flak? You won't get many disagreeing with you. Whoever wins on Sunday can get the tee shirts printed. The reason there was such a big Mayo support yesterday is because none of them are bothering to go up for the final. It's a shame Sundays game isn't the final. Think I'll talk to Joe and start a petition!

Yes, printing the t-shirts before the final has a certain ring to it. Finals are one off games. All sorts of things can happen. You control what you can control... but... the atmosphere, the occasion and all the other ballyhoo can unnerve even the most seasoned campaigners. plike (Kerry) - Posts: 569 - 23/08/2016 09:34:18 1904737 Link 0 |
Dublin will beat Kerry at a canter on Sunday and go on to win the final comfortably. This Dublin team is quite a bit ahead of anybody else at the moment with or without some of last year's players. kingdomgirl (Kerry) - Posts: 11 - 23/08/2016 10:32:42 1904771 Link 0 |
You may be one of the 'yerra' brigade but your analysis is spot on, expect Kerry to put up a fight but the Dubs are way ahead of anyone else, Mayo don't stand a fresh 99 cones chance in hell against them.they can dive, mouth to the ref all day long but the Dubs will fly through them. the Kerry game will only bring them on. Obviously not genuine. '11 '12 &'15 showed there's not much between them when it comes to crunch time. Kerry are going nicely. The majority of Kerry fans will be well up for this contest even if we are favourites. Is it too much to hope for a good game with no sendings off or dodgy penalties? The game seems in a constant state of crisis. Kerry and Dublin have saved us before we need some football to break out. SirStrawHat (Dublin) - Posts: 58 - 23/08/2016 14:16:32 1904879 Link 0 |
dublin won last years all ireland by 3 points.kerry had a total off day both players and management.late on kerry had a chance of a goal but it fell to the wrong player(gooch jod or one of the geaneys would have had it in the net before you can say yearra) a new year and kerry were hanging in in the league final before aidan o mahoney got red carded and dublin pulled away. dublin are missing 2 possible 3 2015 all stars including the footballer of the year.kerry have a few hungry youngsters coming in.dublin have the same personel minus the 2 mentioned thems the facts..kerry to win by 3 kavvie (Clare) - Posts: 505 - 23/08/2016 14:19:47 1904881 Link 0 |

I think the Kerry players need to be wearing their holy medals around their necks when facing the ruthless Dublin Norsemen. Ulidian (Derry) - Posts: 12 - 23/08/2016 14:34:19 1904888 Link 0 |
Agreed, such a pity that every game has to be prefaced by a hopeful plea for no controversy or mistakes

If both sides bring their A game then it's Dublin for me . TheRightStuff (Donegal) - Posts: 1688 - 23/08/2016 15:05:05 1904907 Link 0 |
I think this Dublin team has in much more abundance than any Dublin team since the 70s and that is grit and guts. They have taken each defeat to heart and built on it. When the pressure is on they have delivered, except on 2 occasions in the last 6 years. witnof (Dublin) - Posts: 1604 - 23/08/2016 15:24:24 1904918 Link 0 |
Cannot agree more ,credit where credit is due, they slipped up on the back to back before they will not be doing it again. Sad for Mayo though:( club51 (Mayo) - Posts: 395 - 23/08/2016 15:40:16 1904926 Link 0 |
On paper and on form, you'd have to expect Dublin to win on Sunday but anything can happen on the day of a knockout match which is why I'm giving the nod to Kerry. It's not that Kerry usually do get the rub of the green in big matches it's more that they have the footballers to win big matches. keithlemon (Australia) - Posts: 920 - 23/08/2016 17:08:32 1904974 Link 0 |
Surprise Surprise Dara O Se tips Kerry to win Sunday. One thing I admire about Kerry ex players and their people they always always back Kerry to win. Read every ex Kerry's players article before a game and they all always tip Kerry. Dara is convinced it's a Kerry win Sunday and they'll win the all Ireland only time will tell Dara. clondalkindub (Dublin) - Posts: 9926 - 24/08/2016 09:30:52 1905188 Link 0 |
Dublin, the big robbers of Sam! Jackeen (Dublin) - Posts: 4097 - 24/08/2016 09:48:48 1905203 Link 0 |
They back them to win every game but the perception out there is that it's "yerra sure we will try our best." He even threw in the usual Paudi story, this time it's a story about Paudi getting away with a speeding ticket...well I don't think Kerry will get away with it on Sunday as Diarmuid, Bernard, Kevin Mc and co "speed" their way into another final.
