I thought once the championship started these sort of threads would disappear untill sept

Thought thought his bum was hanging out the bed so got out to push it back in again.

I love how these arguments always hinge on the assumption that everyone outside Dublin plays GAA morning, noon and night.

While your points are valid you also have to acknowledge that hundreds of thousands of dubs live around leinster. Even counties like cavan have their fair share.

It's like when I go to a double header in croker. More dubs on the bus up then royals.

Then you have many dubs in Meath clubs that will only play for Dublin and not meath.

The population of Kildare is approx. 250,000. If youth development money was divided per head we would do a lot better than we do now.
I read that Dublin get about 10 times that of the whole of the rest of leinster for games development. Maybe the Dubs, culchies, polish, africans and brits in Kildare are subtracted from our population to calculate what we should get for youth development! Anyway it ends up at about 50 euros, a fiver of which goes to hurling. I suppose its a fair when you break it down.

Down the local. I wouldn't know if there's truth in it but apparently urban disadvantage is a great advantage in youth development grants.
