Who would you like to see on sky for gaa both hurling and football as presenter, commentary, pundits etc. xxx (Mayo) - Posts: 1275 - 02/04/2014 13:39:20 1569238 Link 0 |
An obvious pundit for hurling would be Niall Quinn as he is a former hurler who is known to sky viewers already. ExiledinDublin (Mayo) - Posts: 131 - 02/04/2014 14:01:43 1569257 Link 0 |
Donal Og would be a good shout for any GAA program. But we'll most likely get a populist clown of which there are so many to chose from. arock (Dublin) - Posts: 4954 - 02/04/2014 14:03:56 1569260 Link 0 |

Sky sports has a irish female presenter think she's from Dublin she will be host. Will we see robbie Keane signing for the dubs and saying it's his boy hood dream to play for them like he's done at every single club he's played for that would be funny. knowtherules (UK) - Posts: 181 - 02/04/2014 14:13:16 1569274 Link 0 |
I would see them using faces that are familiar to a British audience like Niall Quinn, Kevin Moran & Seamus Coleman along with a few "photogenic" GAA bucks. Combine that with cutting edge technology & Marty will be sweating. MuckrossHead (Donegal) - Posts: 5028 - 02/04/2014 14:13:30 1569275 Link 0 |

They will probably go after the guys out of the job in tv3. Canavan would be a great addition. he is arguably the best analyst out there. Well informed, has been involved in the game up until quite recently, tactically very aware, well able to debate points, and has the ability to put his overall point accross succently without rambling. He is also pretty unbiased. In fact, rte should be replacing brolly with him. TheMaster (Mayo) - Posts: 16187 - 02/04/2014 14:21:19 1569282 Link 0 |
Not messing, watch this space, Evanne Ni Cuillean WILL be on Sky sooner rather than later (apologies for spelling!) Liamwalkinstown (Dublin) - Posts: 8166 - 02/04/2014 14:21:42 1569284 Link 0 |
Good shout on moran. Personally, I think people are thinking too much like the way they do soccer. Will it even be done in england? Would the likes of coleman or long being allowed away from their clubs? TheMaster (Mayo) - Posts: 16187 - 02/04/2014 14:24:41 1569286 Link 0 |
