4 Henry brothers Beal. I didn't know that but found this link!

Joe Henry is part of hurling folklore.

Joes son a (Roscommon man) transferred to his dad club Tooreen. Joe is still P.E teacher in Castlerea and was always more interested coaching basketball than GAA for some reason?

green and red..........Brian, Fergal, Niall, Ruairi, George and Pat, playing for the Mayo hurlers together. Beat that!
I know very few play hurling in mayo but didn't know things were quite so bad. Did u say their grandfather also played on that team?

If ya think about the Kerry team of the 70s/80s: Ogie Moran - David Moran (son), Sean Walsh - Tommy & Barry John Walsh (sons), Paidi O'Se - Dara, Marc, Tomas & Fergal O'Se (nephews) [everyone forgets Fergal, he played for Kerry but never won anything as far as I know, apart from County titles] - Paidi's son was on Kerry minors recently enough too!! Tim Kennelly - Tadgh Kennelly (son), you also had 3 other brothers who represented Kerry around then John, Ger & Tony O'Keeffe (11 all irelands I think). You could make a similar list with Dublin I'd say sure with the Brogans et al. From my own club you have a few Sheehy brothers who won 3 All Irelands together and 5 county championships in a row.

Here's an interesting article about the Spillane lads http://www.terracetalk.com/articles/Kerry-Football-Families/161/The-Spillanes-of-Templenoe

Slightly off topic as these lads never won any major honours.

6 Delaney brothers from the great Tooreen hurling club in Mayo lined up for their county together.

Brian, Fergal, Niall, Ruairi, George and Pat, playing for the Mayo hurlers together. Beat that!

Incidentally 5 Delaney brothers played outfield in the 1936 AI final for Laois against Mayo and their uncle played in goal.

Any shout for the Canning brothers (and sister) doing their bit for stick fighting in the county Galway?
The big prize hasn't been claimed, but a pocketful of club All Ireland's can't be sniffed at.

The Meehan's of Caltra too. Six brothers on the panel that won the club All Ireland, and their sister Mairead RIP who won a Camogie Junior All Ireland with Holy Rosary. Declan and Tomás have a pair of All Ireland's too from 1998 & 2001.

It's class that we are all involved in a sport that sees this type of scenario spring up, with lashes of lads & lasses from the same house running out onto the pitch to represent themselves and their Parish.

Doylerwex, the Doran's dont deserve a mention here because the 2nd generation did nothing. The Quigley's, again the 2nd generation did nothing. Same with the Rackards. Bear in mind, the title is "GAA gene"!

The Jacob's, in both camogie and hurling, for me are the standout Wexford family of the modern era. The book certainly cannot start with them, they have gave their lives to Wexford GAA and Oulart.

Further afield, I think of the Fennelly's, the Cooneys (although the next generation, I know one is on the team, but is that it?), the O'Se's in football. I dont see any further generations of the Bonner's in Tipp? Also Tommy Walsh is a grandson of Paddy Grace. Is Eoin Larkin related to Fan and Philly?
