better performance today albeit against a lesser team than derry. jack mc carron done well very confident on the ball,mc caffrey pulled off a great save and apart from one or two dodgy kickouts didnt look out of place and will probably get the start wedensday nite. good to get the first win of 2014 under the belt.apart from j mc c and young wylie not many of the other new boys stood out

I heard Barney Mulholland from Donaghmoyne is the new manager of my neighbour club- Killany. Done great work with Donagmoyne Reserves few years back and i think he is involved with the succesful minor team this year

Surely Killanny would go for someone with more experience than "doing well with reserves a few years ago" Plus he is not with their minors, management for this year was Gerry Hamill, Paul Burns and Gerry Winters.

Strange decision for Dominic Corrigan to leave clontibret who are current county champions. Maybe he feels he has done his bit and time to move on or is it that he now has a Monaghan championship to his name so his reputation is higher and adds to his cv for his next club of many clubs he has been at. Rumours are he was very well paid at Clontibret. It will be hard for clontibret to get a top quality manager now because any top manager will have been snapped up.
