Togged out under a tree!....Try the 'Pig Stys' up at Lucan Sarsfields where they fixed benches to the walls and then they became 'changing rooms', then they put in showers and they became 'changing facilities'!!.....Now we have a clubhouse thank God!

Before the Mikasa I actually had a pair of 'hand me down' gloves from my cousin! They were simple red cloth with 1 inch black elasticated wrists whilse the 'grips' were little strips of stippled green rubber on the palm and knuckled and mimicking the skeleton down the fingers!....Rubber peeled of easily!
Anyone?

Played a game a few years ago with a chap who came to us from a soccer backround. Never played much football but boy was he fast, anyway message was rain predicited for match day so everyone bring gloves. He did, only they were the green rubber palm gardening gloves type, absolute rubbish in the rain , he never knew any difference and played the game with them..hilarious to see him pull them on in the dressing room .. but at least they didn't slow him down....
