Like week in the all ireland hurling final, corks pa cronin and pa horgan were wearing a new pair of boots which i hadnt seen before and must be out recently. i have looked everywhere and all over the web for them but i cant find anything. im wondering is there any body out there that could tell me the exact name and type of boot they wore and where i could get them it would be much appreciated.

Do yourself a favour. Get the adidas world cups that the clare lad is wearing in the picture, and instead of worrying about how your boots look, concentrate on improving your game.

Puma king are the best boots but don't last very long, playing football and hurling my last PK boots lasted 4 months! I use the new Nike Premier boots at the minute, unbelievably comfortable and durable boot. http://www.prodirectsoccer.com/Products/Nike-Football-Boots-Nike-The-Premier-FG-Boots-Firm-Ground-Soccer-Cleats-BlackWhite-62365.aspx

iv tried to use those boots that the clare lad has on him in the picture and there just too flat for me. im not worrying about looking good, those boots that cronin has on i thought look to be a new style on predator out. im a big fan of predators as there nice and light but not like your walking on air, there very comfortable and very good quality boot you cant go wrong with a pair of predators in black and red.

WOW! Serious amount of lads on here trying to look Gucci rather than focus on putting manners on a corner forward!

My boys wear whatevers on sale in Tk Max , or on sale in outlets , first lesson thought to them since they kicked a ball or held a hurl , was how unimportant looking good matters .poor workman blame and tools etc .

Ah yes that white and black pair were my first ever pair of boots. I even remember that orange box, kept my subuteo pitch and goals in it. The leather on those Golas was as hard as the hobs of hell. I advanced on to a pair of Adidas Muller next and then Patrick Jan Molby. No sissy colours like these days.

I had a pair of Hi-Tec ones too!

Anyone else ever have a pair of those heavy yellow wool gloves with the hundreds of black rubber grip dots?

My Mam bought me a pair once....but not for the sake of making me a better footballer....but just to keep Ol Snuffys "hands warm"!!

Ah Mikasa not Mikaso. Yeah remember they were the rage back in the day. Just remember that when they got wet not only did they double in weight but they began to smell a bit. We also had a guy who cut the arms off a pair of Marigolds and wore the glove part taped around the wrist with insulating tape. None of these fancy boots, hairstyles or tight fitting tops then, unless you were over 18 stone!

Jayzus they brings back memories. They only ever came in yellow. Had a couple of pairs of these in the day. They just absorbed the rain though and were like two big heavy sponges on your hands at the end of the game.
