I see the Mayo campaign is still going strong...

There's a sail on in adult nappies across Mayo... imagine losing in yet another AI final... only this time to Dublin... ouch ouch ouch

A Dublin team playing a new system, with a new manager (8 months in the job), new back room team, new players, inexperienced players...

All the pressure is on Mayo... this is their 2nd AI final on the bounce and their 3rd year under Horan... very impressive and the far more settled side

Win or lose this game will only make Dublin stronger, it will bring on our young lads leaps and bounds… we've already had a magnificent year considering that we're a team in transition... this is Mayo's big big chance... if they lose... it will the end of this Mayo team.

No way will you be in another final next year... not 3 years on the bounce

I'm not surprised to see so many Mayo contributors to this thread looking for any sort of unfair advantage...

Desperation and anxiousness at Factor 10 around here folks...

Dublin lads be proud at what we've achieved to date... when you factor in all the disadvantages we've done brilliantly getting to a final this year!

Most of the non WUM Mayo posters don't want anyone to be banned as I have stated.

One rule for Dublin, different rule for the rest....

------
Ah come now it's not as though there was a big punch up at half time or that the Gooch was deliberately eye gouged by a certain right corner back or that ROC rugby tackled Donaghy when straight in on goal having done the same thing the week before. Tyrone people really are inviting trouble by keep putting out the victim story.

Well said Slayer but the CCC MUST investigate both O Carroll and Mcmahon

And the fact that they wont will highlight your bitter begrudgery

And so it does.

neither incident is worth investigating by the CCCCCCCCCCC because they would never get a result. That is all that matters. Regardless of whether you think there was any malice or intention is meaningless and should be forgotten. There is plenty to look forward to.

People going on about it clearly have an ulterior motive.

Wind your neck in, jimbodub!

This Mayo side has an average age of 25; they will be around for the next few years irrespective of the result on September 22nd. As for your contention that they will not reach another final if they lose, please. Mayo have come back every time they've been beaten in a final, and will do so again if they lose. We are a proud people who refuse to give up on our dream.

Dublin deserve to be favourites after their semi-final display, one of the finest victories in Croker for several years against a terrific Kerry team on the day. They will be living in a goldfish bowl for the next few weeks, every Tom, Dick and Harry telling them they're a shoo-in, the national media all demanding their pound of flesh. Such a glaring spotlight will make anything going on in Mayo for the next couple of weeks look like a comparative non-event.

there is definitely more pressure on Mayo. If you can not see that you know little about the game or are from Mayo and have the blinkers on

Bluewave, I am just trying to get the rules of the game applied. It seems it is the dubs who are afraid of this happening and so defend the indefensible.
_________

No man... you're looking for punishment based on insufficient evidence.

We've made a perfectly reasonable stance basing it on a recent incident involving Conor Gormey

Where a still frame made an incident look far worse than it actually was in real time...

Several other posters have agreed to this point. It would be wrong to base any sort of punishment on nothing but a still frame photo

You were looking for Gormleys head before too...

Yep and the vast bulk of which have been from?

And the same lads were at it against Conor Gormley... looking for any sort of unfair advantage... it's just blatant fear and stinks of desperation.

Just more lies out of the Mayo camp...I'm sure James Horan (Along with the rest if the Mayo PR machine) are working on what stories various lies they should release to the media before the game

It didn't stop them before our match in 2012

Go up onto RTE website and watch their Player and study away but its a pure waste of time. I'm sure enough out of context still frames will be used to try and exclude the entire Dublin team and extended panel. What a game best ever played such envy is to be expected by the dark forces. Looking forward to the final and the winter of serious discontent from the other 31 counties.

The Master

The subject is over and done with, the game on Sunday should be applauded not ridiculed it has saved what has been a fairly uneventful Championship to date. I salute the teams that have done themselves proud; Mayo, London, Cavan, Monaghan, and Kerry, but the game on Sunday was the best of the modern era by a long way. The witch hunt is over, bring on the final and touching on the subject of rules The Master please remind Mr. Horan how many substitutions a Gaelic Football Team is permitted I can't see the Dublin County Board being as forgiving as they were last year ;)

From what i see the ''Mayo PR machine'' as you call it is the likes of you and other Dublin posters. Most threads started about Mayo are they Dubs (more often then not the the same Dub, or Limerick poster). You are a great man to spread the ''Dublin hype machine'' line yet have no problem doing it to another county

hype is all media b.s.
take last sundays match.
all week every paper and pundit said "so apparantly all dublin have to do is show up and win but i dont think there will be much between them"
i didnt read any past player pundit or journalist who actualy came out and said dublin will win this easy so where do these lines come from

jimbodub, how do you know what evidence is out there? We seen one photo, there could be video also. This isnt the hearing, this is an online forum. If he gouged a guy in the eye then he deserves to be punished does he not? That was the point I made. I never said I can prove at the cccc hearing that he is guilty, because if I could I would offer that proof up. we are trying to converse about the subject, please stop trying to silence this simply because you dont like what is being said.
