There is no evidence of any kind because it's a lie.

Some of the behaviour and tackles from Kerry players were disgraceful. It annoys me how they always seem to get away with this type of play and no one ever mentions it. There was an assault on a Dublin player in the first half and all the ref did was move the ball up 10 yards. If we are going to comment please make it unbiased.

Oone of the best gaa matches there has ever been and this article and this story is being entertained. For any player who plays an amature sport and gave what those 30 players gave yesterday ite pretty disgusting to say the least.

exactly country man.
dublin had 3 or 4 players carded before that incident i would say and then throw in james o donoughe takeing nearly 10 steps for one of his points in the first half.
bernard brogan was down injured the ref walked over saw the player getting assistance and then allowed play to continue, then a few minutes later cooper was down injured the exact same scenario and he holds up the match for almost two minutes till he is ready to continue.
then another example was jack mccafrey was fouled in the middle of the pitch the ref 5 yards away mccafrey stopped looked at ref to see if he should play on or take the free, the ref who when giving advantage must signal by placing his arm in the air to signal this or else must tell the player to play on that its not a free did neither, instead what does he do he looks straight at jack for almost 5 seconds then signals over carrying and gives a free against jack.

Kerry and Dublin played an entertaining game yesterday with high scores and porous defence's.
However the amount of Off the Ball fouling and cynical play from both sides was a disgrace to say the least, eye gouging, kickin men in the head, cynical tripping, it was an insult to Sean Cavanagh that none of the guilty parties were lambasted on national TV in similar fashion. Its time RTE get rid of these who attempt to commentate on our national game where their views are neither fair nor impartial.

The Paul Mohan/Sportsfile photo looks innocent enough - Rory is merely helping the Gooch remove a fleck of dust from his eye...

After the bitegate of McBrearty and this one from McMahon, http://www.youtube.com/all_comments?v=rh6YQBgD-0A I'm hardly surprised by gouging and stamping. RTE's refusal to highlight it is sickening, particularly after the scrutiny Tyrone received. Kerry were pulling lads down all day as well but lets just gloss over that fact. Only Galvin seems to get it from the media where Kerry are concerned.

Taking our own Eamonn McGee incident v Mayo, it was a cowardly act, it would be refreshing to see fans condemn actions of players rather than making excuses. Video footage needed for the ROC incident, seriously?

It's amazing how many new posters appear with one or two comments in total just to vent their hatred for Kerry. Some lads short of a job.

On the incident itself, I saw the tussle in front of the Cusack, much ado about nothing, leave ROC alone for f*** sake.

Of course I seen the photo. Why would i be commenting on it if I hadn't seen it? The photo tells us nothing and certainly isn't evidence of eye gouging - anyone who says otherwise is a fool. As mentioned already if it was gouging then Cooper would have lost his eye going by that photo - a photo in a split second of a match can be deceiving. Now get yourself up to scratch and open your head to an independent thought.

This is definately a case for the CCC, eye gouging is not acceptable in our sports

In fairness, you are going to need a better defence than that if you expect people to believe you. You dont automatically lose an eye if someone puts a finger into it...

I could bring up a still photograph of Aiden O'Shea striking a Tyrone player in the throat, should he miss the final as well !?

Bluewave, well you couldnt, because it was a light push, and in a photo the difference in force between a push and a strike would be obvious. However, the point is I am not saying that cavanagh was clearly not punched sinply because he didnt start gasping for air afterwards. Mainly because that doesnt prove anything. Every gouge to the eye does not result in your eye falling out or you going blind, therefore that alone is not an valid argument. Understand?

There is no defense for this. It is clear form the picture that eye gouging took place. Lads who are defending this behaviour, dont embarrass yourselves any more

It depends on the shutter speed of the camera you are using. All sports journalists use very fast shutter speeds, so the pictures look perfectly still, even when match play is at full speed.

So that argument goes out the window. Aidan OShea would look frozen, as does O'carroll.

Unless there is a clear piece of evidence, then we can go round and round in circles with this.

Sorry but you're wrong.

As for embarrassing ourselves... please man

Evidence is evidence and that photo doesn't prove anything.
