Ringo ur right...this was a mess from day one and I am sorry for the Limerick lads. It was also hard on the Galway and Waterford lads. If the ref did not give Limerick the free in the 62 minute there would have been a replay imo. as Limerick deserved the extra time which they did get. GAA have much to think about over the winter.

I have not seen any statement yet by the DRA. I fully agree with arock. The GAA has presented the best ever own goal with regards to how they have dealt with a serious error.
An error that cost Limerick a point.
I do hope Limerick receive an apology as they deserve it.

Its hard to fathom how the cockeyed members of the referees officials got it so wrong. What sort of instructions are now being given to the referee and his officials? Was it a linesman that called for the referee to use Hawkeye?
I posted earlier that it is a shame that it happened to a minor team. I wonder what would have happened if it happened to a senior team like Cork or Kilkenny or Tipp?
Its just not good enough for a minor team to be treated as they have.

It is also most galling to read posters talk about the soft free etc.... stick to the fact that Limerick were denied a perfect point.
Its a bad evening for the GAA after an unforgettable summer of inspired hurling games.
