The All Ireland Cic Saor Championships 2013 will be sponsored by "Corona"

Hosting this year's event is legendary Kerry midfielder Jack O'Shea and Armagh Great Oisin McConville.

Cic Saor is fundraising for the Dundalk Young Irelands GFC - who are regarded as one of the oldest GAA clubs in existence and represented Louth in the first ever All Ireland Final. We would urge everyone to support the Corona Cic Saor 2013 by, notifying any Free Takers of the event or by entering a player to represent your "Club", your support will help to ensure the future of this historically important GAA club.

"Kick for 5k", Remember contestants you can; "kick for your club", "kick for your charity ","kick for your sponsor" or "kick for yourself". The competition will be limited to the first 100 players that register, so "don't delay" go to www.cicsaor.ie and register TODAY!!

In no particular order, Bryan Sheehan (Kerry), Ciaran Lyng (Wexford), Michael Murphy (Donegal), Michael Meehan (Galway), Sean McCormack (Longford), Daniel Goulding (Cork).

Cluxton is William Tell like alright. Don't think there is a more accurate placed ball kicker around and who can hit those distances. I can't think of a kicker who is accurate off the ground with both feet. Plenty from the hands as easier to execute with weaker foot but a player who can strike equally well off the ground with both feet would be a find.

Cillian 'Tapover' O'Connor as some clueless called him, kept mayo in division one this year when we were a point down and kick two sidelines, one from either side of pitch against cork in last couple of minutes.

Serious marksman. Newman from meath is deadly accurate as is heslin from westmeath. Sheehan has great range but has been known to miss afew. Meehan is quality on his day as is goulding. wouldnt rate murphy as highly as some other free takers but he is still savage accurate as is mcfadden.

Shane Walsh used to hit them from the ground with both feet back when he was playing with Jarlaiths.

Ya, it is harder to kick a placed ball than a moving one...

Off the ground is easier.
