What I dont understand is why did the GAA have plans to build another elephant stadium in the outskirts of Dublin instead with that Money help Improve paric tailteann, st conleths,Drogheda and Wicklow.????? The money to revamp them would go along way instead of building another stadium for Dublin GAA.

Isnt Parnell Park a lovely ground....im not kidding.

Its about perfect for club championship games and qualifiers.

Pitch is always in good nick too.

I dont see why league games cant be played in Parnell the were for manys a year.

they were not building it for dublin gaa,if you bothered to read it was going to be a home ground for meath.kildare,louth to use instead of building new grounds in each county,the fact that it was in dublin was becuase it was in the middle of all three countys and easiest for them to get to.plans are scrapped now anyway and didnt agree with it in the first place

Parnell Park is a sufficient size for league games in general, a lovely ground and clean. What I was implying was that the access to all turnstiles is deplorable, everybody has to go in the same laneway!
