If Tyrone had have come out first and Mickie was asked to move to Clones, he would have went to accomadate the crowd. theres no question about that.

No, but Antrim match went to extra-time a couple of years ago and no-one was driving cars to the side of the pitch with the headlights on to get it finished. It'll still be bright at 9.

Honestly it and aughrim are the worst grounds in Ireland, followed closely by our own, bur we have floodlights.

I know Royaldunne Navan and Newbridge is as bad as each other that said Newbridge last saturday was brilliant and I cant wait for that again this saturday but sure the Gaa are trying to build another stadium in the outskirts of Dublin!! and trying to justify it by saying Kildare ,louth, Meath, wicklow can play 'home' games at it! you'd wonder sometimes.

Yeah it'd make you wonder. Stupid. Do up both newbridge and navan. Instead of another white elephant.

Agree RD & Lily, What a coincidence that H&S lower the capacity of these grounds, feck all money put in to them, suited GAA plan for a midland ground but what will happen now in present climate.....probably nothing but who suffers, the genuine fans!
Is the match sold out or will there be tickets on sale tomorrow in Hawkfield. Big mix up in my own ticket purchase and only found out so ticketless at moment.

Exactly.

Colm O'Rourke very accuratly pointed out taht the GAA are going over the top. The wont allow a few hundreed stand on a grass bank and 3'oclock on a sunday to watch a football match in navan. But a few miles over the road 80,000 can stand on a very steep grass hill in slane with drink on sale to jump around the place at a concert.

But then again, the GAA arent trying to build another concert venue, just another Stadium....

Actually fancy Kildare in a very tight match.

It really depends on what forwards kildare start with. Kildare need to attack from word go and then yes they will win. But mcgeeney hasn't proved to be the best tactician and therfore id expect harte to win on the sideline and Tyrone to scrape it on the field.

What forwards do you think we should go with RD?

Not convinced TOC will be best suited to taking on Tyrone but he will start after his display last week. Think he will go with:

Connolly, Hyland, P Kelly, McGrillen, Callaghan, M O'Flaherty, Bolton, Daryl Flynn, O'Neill, E O'Flaherty, Cribbin, Daniel Flynn, Doyle, O'Connor, N Kelly.

I think it will be tight but Tyrone have that bit more quality to get over the line by a few points.

Goals win games and we haven't exactly been tearing the back of the net so far this year, it will be an attritional game but I would like to think we will come out the other side,Tyrone by 2.

Forgot P Brophy. Would start him ahead of Flynn.

Id start toc and Jonson anyhow. The young lad that scored the goal v dubs name escapes me. Yous have to hit ground running. Put Tyrone on back foot from word go. Make them open up at back and make them come forward. Only hope dh, only hope.
