By the way if Kildare people are going to complain about the Ref in advance I think we should to, so that he doesnt get any ideas. See also conspiracy theory thread.

You could write a strongly worded letter.

I expect Tyrone to win this game.

Its a big game for these two counties. The prize, a game against the mighty men from meath.
Now ok meath will hockey either. But still a day out in croker for one of the lesser teams at the moment.

Most people will expect Tyrone to win this game away from home or not. The Leinster Championship is weak, almost like a junior championship so Tyrone will persevere most likely.

All banter aside. I would not consider Tyrone or Kildare to be "lesser" counties. I have a feeling Kildare will win this game. The fact that it is been played in Newbridge is a Huge advantage for them and they have a great record in the qualifiers.

T'will be a great evening in Newbridge. Reckon it'll be tight and hoping we'll come out the right side of it. One thing for certain is that if we lose by 7 points we won't come on here bragging about it and say we've improved from last year. And we won't attempt to swap the scoreline from 2009 either.

It'll cap off a great week for Kildare football with our third Leinster title secured last weekend. And of course an AI Final to look forward to.

Would really like to win this one and get a crack at Meath the following week.

At least if Tyrone beat us by 7 it's no longer considered a hammering, unlike last year. Strange how the trends change ...

Kildare for the win, because Tyrone had a very poor game aginast Roscommon who are a very avarage team!

Tyrone in last couple of years have done badly away from home, e.g. against Kerry and Donegal, not only were they beat, but they also played with a total lack of conviction also. Last 20 mins against both Kerry and Donegal they stopped trying, which was unacceptable - OK to be beaten by a better team, but at least try to the end. And Tyrone seem now to give up quicker when away from home. Mc Geeney will love this opportunity. You could make a case for either team losing it; 2 average teams, sadly.

I'd fancy the big Kildare boys to come out on top in this game.

The Kildare players have serious strength and outrageous pace to match their strength.

The only real weakness I saw them display on Saturday last was that when they inject pace into a movement the movement sometimes breaks down due to there being absolutely no room for any little passing errors. The speed they can move the ball from one end of the field to the other is probably not bettered by any other team. They've obviously been working very hard both on the training ground and in the gym.

I really think Saturdays game against Louth will have helped them to get back on track again.

I feel Kildare will silence many of it's critics over the next few weeks and beyond.

One criticism I would have of Kildare would be that their young supporters mainly feel this need to boo the opposing teams free takers and on occasions too they cheer a ball that had been kicked wide.

Kildare I feel will win this game easier than many will expect.

Jayzus Snapper, you must have met a nice girl in Swifts on Saturday night or something did you?

Even The Sunday Game hype machine never talked us up that much.

Should be a good game, and whichever teams win it it should set up another cracking match with Meath the week afterwards. Any of the three teams should fancy their chances of making the quarters with that draw.

Hopefully home advantage will have a bit of an influence on things, didn't do us much good in the league but again in the semi the biggest difference between the teams was a fit and on form Stevie O'Neill.

Should be a sell out and a great atmosphere in Newbridge next weekend anyways.

Tyrone are favourites make no mistake and won't be too worried by what they saw on Saturday.

Although I have a sneaking feeling Kildare could do it. We have home advantage. Tyrone haven't had the benefit of being pushed all the way by a team like Louth. The smaller pitch won't be too taxing on Johnny Doyle's legs (Although i know that will work for Stephen ONeill too). And also McGeeney has never knocked over a big gun, be it by tactical naivity, dreadful refereeing/ umpire decisions and bad luck. This is probably his last year with us and the man deserves a big result. It has to happen some time.

(Disclaimer: I may have said the same thing last year before the Cork game)

Real shame we drew Tyrone. Was hoping we wouldn't start club championship for at least another 3-4 weeks.

See Mickey Harte is looking for half the ticket allocation for this match :) Good on ya Mickey.
But I do agree with him 7 is a tough time for players and fans of Tyrone - they'll be all hours getting home from the game. Again GAA has no consideration for fans or players.
