If it's moved the choice of alternate venue should be left up to Kildare, i.e. Portlaoise beir_bua (Kildare) - Posts: 746 - 15/07/2013 13:21:31 1432149 Link 0 |

I don't really care where this game's played at but if Newbridge wasn't able to cater for kildare v limerick last year how could it possibly be big enough for kildare Tyrone? duke_raul (Tyrone) - Posts: 993 - 15/07/2013 13:58:17 1432235 Link 0 |
Clones would be the obvious choice here for all concerned including the GAA coffers Game2Halves (Tyrone) - Posts: 265 - 15/07/2013 14:01:10 1432240 Link 0 |
How can a league game between the sides not be held in Newbridge, yet a make or break championship game can ? waynoI (Dublin) - Posts: 13654 - 15/07/2013 14:01:30 1432242 Link 0 |

navan would be a good compromise. It can hold over 30000. But Kildare have already ceded a home draw at the start of the league to play in croke park. so twice in the same year is too big an ask imo. Donegalman (None) - Posts: 3846 - 15/07/2013 14:19:27 1432310 Link 0 |
Navans capacity is only about 15'000 at the moment. CastleBravo (Meath) - Posts: 1678 - 15/07/2013 14:58:40 1432390 Link 0 |
Kildare shouldn't have to give up home advantage, just like Donegal stood firm on Ballbofey. brendtheredhand (Tyrone) - Posts: 10897 - 15/07/2013 15:08:22 1432414 Link 0 |
Donegalman, bit rich coming from you that we should give up home advantage against Tryone considering how hard ye fought to keep your game against the same Tyrone in Ballybofey. Newbridge was nowhere near full on saturday and with the game likely to be televised it should be ok for this game as well. We also gave up home advantage against Donegal in the league so we are due a break now surely. murof (Kildare) - Posts: 480 - 15/07/2013 15:08:46 1432415 Link 0 |
