Murof. I think you'll find plenty in kildare who would rather have someone else in charge too. Look as a meath man im delighted he is there and long may it continue as a meath man. royaldunne (Meath) - Posts: 19449 - 20/07/2013 15:48:21 1436452 Link 0 |

Ha ha RD, theres only one reason you would like a Kildare/Meath game : ) but be careful what you wish for, if they beat Tyrone, I can't see ye beating them! Meath need to repeat the 1st half display you had against Dublin, or it's curtains. realdub (Dublin) - Posts: 8756 - 20/07/2013 16:41:27 1436489 Link 0 |
I think you will find royaldunne that it is only a small minority that would like mc geeney to move the majority of Kildare thankfully enough have the cop on to realise what a state Kildare was in before he arrived and truthfully there is no one in the county or outside for that matter that could take over. I dont think I could cope with hoganstand next week IF it was Kildare v Meath could you imagine royaldunne's posts :D lilywhitemagic (Kildare) - Posts: 1693 - 20/07/2013 16:42:12 1436490 Link 0 |
If it were to be kildare meath, then id expect meath to win. But looking at meath home page and taking away the either part, the poll suggest we would prefer Tyrone. I am of the belief we will beat either. Simply cause we have the more attacking forwards. But that discussion is for another day. Yeah id love it to be kildare for personal reasons, but i think Tyrone would be of more benefit to us in quarters. Either way best wishes to all this eve. royaldunne (Meath) - Posts: 19449 - 20/07/2013 17:05:33 1436500 Link 0 |
Fancy tyrone by 5 tonight, return of stephen o'neill alongside mccurry up front should swing it. The injury to morgan will be keenly felt here because i fancy kildare to very defensive and concede a lot of frees to stop the two donnellys and sean cavanagh from running from deep. Still think kildare aren't at the same level of tyrone and the other division 1 teams and even though newbridge is a slight leveller i see tyrone having too much class and experience tonight. Do kildare practice shooting? By looks of this they don't. royaldunne (Meath) - Posts: 19449 - 20/07/2013 19:22:38 1436600 Link 0 |
Kildare are really poor. Tyrone in a different class at this point. MuckrossHead (Donegal) - Posts: 5028 - 20/07/2013 19:27:16 1436605 Link 0 |

Kildare's forward line is just a group of hard working, physical men with the exception of Kelly and Doyle, it just isn't good enough that they consistently hit wide after wide. Some ask whether they practice shooting, that may be the case but I just don't think they are good enough footballers. CaisleanCnucha (Dublin) - Posts: 1379 - 20/07/2013 19:33:52 1436616 Link 0 |
Kildare could still win this game, they usually have a strong second half. But Kildare's attacking play was very poor against Dublin and in this game so far. Forget about getting rid of McGeeney, I would be getting rid of Jason Ryan, is he not supposed to be their forwards coach? ClassApart (Meath) - Posts: 1200 - 20/07/2013 19:34:59 1436620 Link 0 |
Very unfair on O'Neill, he has got hit off the ball every single time he has got the ball so far and nothing has been done, he gives Kelly a bit of a smack in the chest and gets a yellow. Double standards Joe. CaisleanCnucha (Dublin) - Posts: 1379 - 20/07/2013 19:35:15 1436621 Link 0 |
Never seen anything as bad, honest to gawd, they are simply not footballers annd for a team of gym boyos, they're fairly soft too. 51longago (Mayo) - Posts: 2981 - 20/07/2013 19:37:29 1436622 Link 0 |

Why are the umpires wearing shirts and ties? They're at a sports event not a formal event. Imagine if the ref was going around like that! MarkMyWords (Meath) - Posts: 522 - 20/07/2013 19:43:05 1436630 Link 0 |
Jesus its terrible. Now if anyone ever says to ne me again that kildare are anywhere near a top team, I'll send the men in white coats. royaldunne (Meath) - Posts: 19449 - 20/07/2013 19:45:59 1436635 Link 0 |

They still have a chance, as bad as the Kildare forwards are their defence hasn't been bad and their MF has been on top the whole game. Bit of momentum coming now aswell... CaisleanCnucha (Dublin) - Posts: 1379 - 20/07/2013 20:00:01 1436653 Link 0 |
Keep giving Kelly the ball, he is a classy footballer. God knows how good he'll be in 4-5 years. CaisleanCnucha (Dublin) - Posts: 1379 - 20/07/2013 20:01:29 1436654 Link 0 |
