Murof. I think you'll find plenty in kildare who would rather have someone else in charge too. Look as a meath man im delighted he is there and long may it continue as a meath man.
But reality is look at what mod has done with meath in less than a year,same with galvin. While winning something meaningful may take a couple of years, if after 6 then im sure we would all be asking why?
Anyway, if kildare hit ground running tonight they will win, I think Tyrone are not as good as many thought they were. Plus id love a meath v kildare game.

I think you will find royaldunne that it is only a small minority that would like mc geeney to move the majority of Kildare thankfully enough have the cop on to realise what a state Kildare was in before he arrived and truthfully there is no one in the county or outside for that matter that could take over. I dont think I could cope with hoganstand next week IF it was Kildare v Meath could you imagine royaldunne's posts :D

If it were to be kildare meath, then id expect meath to win. But looking at meath home page and taking away the either part, the poll suggest we would prefer Tyrone. I am of the belief we will beat either. Simply cause we have the more attacking forwards. But that discussion is for another day. Yeah id love it to be kildare for personal reasons, but i think Tyrone would be of more benefit to us in quarters. Either way best wishes to all this eve.

Fancy tyrone by 5 tonight, return of stephen o'neill alongside mccurry up front should swing it. The injury to morgan will be keenly felt here because i fancy kildare to very defensive and concede a lot of frees to stop the two donnellys and sean cavanagh from running from deep. Still think kildare aren't at the same level of tyrone and the other division 1 teams and even though newbridge is a slight leveller i see tyrone having too much class and experience tonight.
Would fancy either team to beat meath well next week in croke park, one good first half performance doesnt change the fact that meath are a division 3 team that where going nowhere 2 weeks ago.

Kildare's forward line is just a group of hard working, physical men with the exception of Kelly and Doyle, it just isn't good enough that they consistently hit wide after wide. Some ask whether they practice shooting, that may be the case but I just don't think they are good enough footballers.

Kildare could still win this game, they usually have a strong second half. But Kildare's attacking play was very poor against Dublin and in this game so far. Forget about getting rid of McGeeney, I would be getting rid of Jason Ryan, is he not supposed to be their forwards coach?

horrendous is too small a word. They are clueless, not able to hand pass, foot pass, scoring, defending. No clear game plan, no confidence. Terrible terrible display.
I live in hope that it will improve.
