Brendan Devenney and Brian Roper both could make it on to Donegal's all time greatest XV, but only the NFL in 2007 is what they have to show for it.

Karl O Dwyer has an all star too. One of the very few Kerrymen with an All Star and No All Ireland.

He got one in 2000. William Kirby circa 04/05 was great for Kerry too.

Not being biased with 4 Monaghan players but it is hard to remember if someone has got an all star or not! Also I may be corrected if any of the above have one.

Niall McNamee is a very ordinary player. Offaly have always put him up there with legends like Matt O'Connor who wore the famous green, white and gold but personally speaking he is nothing special. Though saying that he is the best forward at Offaly's disposal these days.

Disagree he's a top player and one of the best forwards around at this moment in time.

There are a lot of very fine footballers who never won an all-star. My stab at a team would be:

1. Mickey McVeigh (Down)
2. Damien O'Reilly (Cavan)
3. Gerry McCarville (Monaghan)
4. Barry McGowan (Donegal)
5. Noel Roche (Clare)
6. Joe McMahon (Tyrone)
7. Declan Darcy (Leitrim/Dublin)
8. Seamus O'Hanlon (Louth)
9. John Galvin (Limerick)
10. Gerald Cavlan (Tyrone)
11. John McEntee (Armagh)
12. Gary Mason (Down)
13. Jason Sherlock (Dublin)
14. Dara O'Cinneide (Kerry)
15. Vinny Claffey (Offaly)
