Is the big Kerry/Dublin love in which has combined to attack Ulster now heading for the divorce courts? Shock horror!

It was never true love, just a rebound. For us its a 'Love Ulster' we love our Donegals, our Tyrones and we love you Ulsterman, your an inspiration! :)

Overseas he had a great game in last years massive Semi final against Mayo when everyone else on the Dublin were having stinkers.

I thought he was very good against Kildare, not great and definitely not MOTM. I probably would have given him a 7 or 8 out of 10.

We have to remember that this guy spent 4 months in Australia playing a different sport while others were training and playing club football, within playing a couple of league games he then got injured and missed the rest of the league. Two big impacts on a guy whos career has been so crazy the last 8-10 months. And Ciarrai Abu he was our best forward on his first start against Mayo last Summer, and currently he can only play what is in front of him.

I know O'Shea will regret those words because I know CK will become an outstanding footballer, he can play from 10-15 but I reckon he will either become an 11 or corner forward. With each game under his back you will see improvement, watch this kid take the AI championship by storm in 2-3 years because he will.

He was only in Oz for 6 weeks and in ever paper I bought yesterday he was motm but I agree with everything else you say.

I read the paper as well CD but don't take their writings as the word of God, they also gave Paul Flynn a 7 and I thought it was his worst game in a blue shirt, Andrews got a 6 and he was also very poor.
He spent about 2 months in Australia at the end of 2012, came back for Christmas and went back to Oz for about 6-8 weeks training before he decided to come back.

No he didn't go back after Christmas, he went over for a week in October to sign for Hawtorn then came home and went back to Oz at the start of November and came home mid December and that was it , so a max of 7 weeks he was in Oz for. Sure he played against Mayo on September the 2nd so it's impossible for him to spend 4 months in Oz.

Sorry about that CD you are completely right, I always thought he went back but he ended his Aussie rules career very early.

My point stands though, he has had a very changeable season compared to others. To go from training for a different sport in Australia, to playing junior championship with Castleknock, to going straight into the county team for the league is change after change after change. It will (naturally) take him a little longer to get going 100%, but even at that he has been playing well.

Serious footballer, wait 'til Brogan comes back at CF and he moves into the full-forward line, that's where he's lethal!

Great player, can't understand why someone with jacks stature in the game would make those comments.
My mother who knows nothing about football could see kilkenny was a class act today

I liked how he calmed Connolly down when he was getting involved and things got a bit heated, I used to think he would definitely be a corner forward but after watching today he could make a fantastic CF.

His kick passing was outstanding. Best I've seen for a while. Scary.

Actually Meath were promoted to div2 Chicago so they are a division two team...but I see the point you are making man. Pretty offensive comments from a legend of the game but Kilkenny should find critisism like that and take strenght from it to become an even better player than he is...and he is an exceptional player at the moment. Pin Jackos comments up on the wall and after every great game he has fire a dart at it :-) Keep up the good work Ciaran.

Think chicago09s comments are a bit short sighted. Meath may not be top opposition but sure the rest of the Dublin players played against them too, and few stood out more than Kilkenny.

The young man C.Kilkenny is letting hes football do the talking. A bright kid with huge potential who can go and win lots of medals like Jacko. Id take Jacko's comments with a pinch of salt. Theres more to that story than we know id guess.
