Bet of the weekend

Rising1916. Donegal are a best price of 1/9 to win the Ulster Title not 1/3 like you stated my friend. Big difference.

In fairness Kerry, he was quoting prices available before the weekend games. Cats were 1/3 to win Leinster, they are 1/2 now. Definitely wouldn't take the cats at that. If we don't beat them then Galway will have a great chance.

This weekend could be a good one for betting with a lot of games on. Anyone any good suggestions for some 'bookie-bashing' bets?

Some of the apparent bankers could be dodgy. I certainly would not be backing Galway at 1/3. Cavan are tempting at 6/4. Dublin footballers half time/full time probably around 4/6, and hurlers +6 at evens. Works out around 15/1.

Offaly +7 at evens has to be a great bet?? In offaly??

Also it would appear things arnt great in Armagh so the 7/2 for Wicklow could be an almighty shout. What do yous think??

50 Euro at 16/1 Dublin to bet the Cats half time/full time. You might not be hearing from me for a day or two :-)

I don't what price is on offer on Fermanagh but I have a very strong suspicion they could cause an upset against Westmeath.

Westmeath are at home I know but the hammering they took against Dublin will not be easily erased for their memory.

There three match losing run I feel may well be extended to four by tomorrow evening.

Fermanagh are a decent price, 5/2 to beat Westmeath.

My apologies everyone but especially Westmeath.

I forgot that Westmeath beat Carlow in between their two losses to Derry and the loss against Dublin.

Darren Hughes over 1.5 points at 13/8. He can be dangerous when running from deep as seen in the league final v. Meath and against Antrim last time out. Cavan employ a very good defensive system forcing teams to shoot from far out and Hughes is well capable of scoring long range points. He scored 2-4 from half back in this year's league campaign. A seriously under rated player imo.

Some other bets:
Monaghan to win both halves 5/2
Tipperary 9/2
Limerick 1-3 pts 11/4

Kildare and Dublin ladies about to start in Portmarnock any minute now, the Paddy Power website has the match listed for tomorrow though.

Dublin are strong favourites but if it's still on offer come half three or so I'll take my chances and lump on.

Tomorrow in the Leinster semi's a double of Dublin -7 and Meath -4 pays out at 12/1, easy money.
