Ja,you're right. But the posters are not to blame. They belong to that class of society called Youth. They weren't around when football was football. worple (Roscommon) - Posts: 351 - 24/06/2013 14:32:32 1414333 Link 0 |

I used Meath as an example, I even admitted that Tyrone and Dublin fans had been biased as well. I was just trying to make the point that the other voting system would have been better. You're portraying me as very anti-meath and we're going a bit off topic so I'm going to leave it at that and stop posting on this thread. Ciaran McDonald was more an individual than team player. Not always, but a lot of the time he loved to take the hollywood option in his choice of footpass and point shooting. When it came off it was class, more often than not though he would fluff it. Deep down I'm sure Mayo fans will say he has lost numerous games for their county because of this. Frustration was a word used already to describe him, it's spot on. Great player when things went his way. Kepak10 (Meath) - Posts: 167 - 24/06/2013 15:03:53 1414381 Link 0 |

Without a doubt Ciaran McDonald, may have never lifted Sam but thats not his fault, always performed on rhe big day except for 06 final which he was injured for and he still started because he was so important to the teams morale, perfect example of this is 2004, if he was playing the other team he would have got MOTM. Re jafallon--Yeah I know where you are coming from. Of course, by all accounts, Sean Purcell was a better centre half forward than the two guys. Administrator (None) - Posts: 2275 - 24/06/2013 15:23:08 1414408 Link 0 |
