Anyone who mentions Karl Lacey in this thread, its beyond laughable. Darren Fay of county Meath, one of the best full backs that ever played the game. ahsure. (Galway) - Posts: 1779 - 06/06/2013 20:23:30 1400721 Link 0 |

Mick Lyons. The Meath full back, whose sheer presence, could terrify a bully like Keith Barr into a nervous wreck. bryanadams (Kildare) - Posts: 733 - 06/06/2013 21:38:16 1400792 Link 0 |

Tough position to pick. I really want Moynihan in this team. It wouldn't be too hard to justify him somewhere in the back line. However, he was deployed more at centre back. I really liked Lyons; a fantastic player. SML of Derry; always a worker, I'd have him in front of Bellew for sure. Kerryman (UK) - Posts: 403 - 07/06/2013 09:02:29 1400825 Link 0 |

My vote for the number four slot goes to Dublin's Mick Kennedy. A no nonsense corner back who played in the eighties and early nineties for the Dubs. Colm O'Rourke once described him as being the toughest opponent he had ever faced. A great player who even turned out in goals for Dublin when Paddy Cullen retired and just before John O' Leary made his debut in the 1980 Leinster dubupnorth (Dublin) - Posts: 1897 - 07/06/2013 09:38:12 1400847 Link 0 |
