Is that the best or worst goal ever?

Game over, by the way

Lucky Meath should have been 2-4 to 0-9 penalty saved a point and fluke goal and now 1-10 1-4 would have to feel sorry for Wicklow no way back for them now.

We gave away the same type of goal against Meath in the league this year. Goalkeeper Claffey was dropped after it.

In fairness Meath have taken their scores with more ease.

How quick a game can change from been in a position to take the lead to going behind by six points in a matter of minutes...

I wonder is Kevin Reillys goal the longest range goal in championship history.

Seanie Furlongs penalty was awful and what is more annoying about it is that the penalty spot look to be sunk into the ground and he looked like he was placing the ball in a hollow.

What was McStay on about with the penalty a clear penalty his suggestion that the Wicklow forward going for the ball was dangerous is just laughable should he have stood back from the goalie.I think the ref has been overly fussy myself but he got the penalty decision correct. Wicklow are still in this match that is a huge breeze and all the Wicklow forwards need to do is loft the ball into the air.

Lady luck is with Meath so far and Wicklow look disheartened after the goal. In fairness, Meath look the better team and Reilly has taken some nice points.

Helps when you have the wind at your back. That 6 point swing is a major turing point in the game it's hard to see Wicklow lifting themselves in the second half.

Terrible gosl for Wicklow to concede, but simply not good enough all around.

The ref has been shocking today, every two seconds he has been blowing up for unneccessary frees. The peno was a poor decision as well.

The result may say a five point win for Meath however in truth very little between those sides and they both looked like div 3 sides. The differece was the 6 point swing in the first half.

Wicklow forwards won a lot of ball but couldn't get shots away. Meath forwards were more clinical wind or no wind.

Could have been a very different outcome, Wicklow battled well, they have good spirit, just shot themselves in the foot with missing the penalty and then conceding such a soft goal. Graham Reilly was superb for Meath, and Wallace looks a good footballer too, savage pace.
