If longford win is the Meath game in Pearse park? If so they could really cause Meath problems

Most certainly could Meath are no longer the big championship team they use to be. Longford without one of their best forwards doesn't help. Wicklow away is tricky place to get a win i'm sure Longford will take any type of win.

Well done wicklow. Delighted for you. As everyone knows I have a soft spot for wicklow, but that will be left aside on June 15th. Looking forward to our encounter.

Realdub, they have been making little bits of progress and as i said if meath were out id be cheering them on all the way, i hope this little win will grow into something more, wouldn't it be fantastic if they could do a Westmeath on it and win leinster finally.
Hopefully over the next decade that will happen, i don't think any supporter from any other county would mind too much loosing to them if they finally got their hands on Delaney cup.
anyway thrilled for them today, but ill put it aside in aughrim in few weeks. It won't be easy

Today's result open the door for Meath to reach the Leinster if they do some Meath fans will think they are a top 7 side again.

I would gladly swap Glen for Kieran if you want him.

1392732 bryanadams,

I did and I think Glenn has done a good job in Longford, although yesterday was disappointing alright, but Aughrim is never an easy place to take a victory from Wicklow.
I am sure ye will regroup and nobody will want to face Longford in the qualifiers.
I would like to see Glenn as manager of Kildare some day, as I feel we would benefit from having our former captain and leader of the county team at the helm.
