Is it me, or could Cavan vs Monaghan in an Ulster SF be the grudge match of the year?

That is if Fermanagh don't beat Cavan today.

I think it'd be a great match up.

Fermanagh should introduce their manager to the forward line at this stage

Cavan have this won. Its going to be one hell of a battle with ourselves in the semi final. We were warned in the league and today is another warning very organised hard tackling side. We need to really be up for it as it will be fierce.

Brutal game, but any chance the RTE pundits
could discuss the game being played, typical
soapbox RTE rubbish! listen to Oisin and Paddy
on BBC2, at least they are discussing the game
(as bad as it is)!

As for your jibes at how many Ulster titles we have,it doesnt bother me one bit...........id rather win one that i was at/alive for(1988 thank god) than spout about titles that were won 60 odd years ago! so please change the record.

This is typical of the "small county syndrome" we all expect from jealous Monaghan fans whenever Cavan play a match. At least tomorrow we may put a bit of dignity back into Ulster football after yous tortured the country with the muck served up in Casement last week.

WOW ,this is an amzing exibition of putting dignity back in Ulster football so far.

If this is the way gaelic football is going to be, then we may as well give up now. Win at all cost, but these wins are a detriment to the game of gaelic football.

Turn it off then and worry about not conceding 4 goals in the qualifier ahsure.

Has to be the worst game of football I've seen in a while, Cavan are well set up defensively and are strong in the tackle but Fermanagh are clueless. Time and time again they carry into the tackle, surely that is the one thing they will have been told not to do against a blanket defence. We weren't the first team to introduce blanket defence we just developed it but this is just rubbish. Typical RTE analysis but I have to agree with Spillane on one point, players have very poor peripheral vision in the modern game.

How about this for a revolutionary idea for all of the righteous posters of HS, if the game offends you so much turn the damned thing off and do something useful instead of coming on here and whingeing.

@samsforthehills
the usual soapbox analysis from the usual suspects!
"too much handpassing...yadayada..."
And then after the break he was on about Cavan's
defending being outstanding! WTF! Sounds like the
producer had a word youknowwho! LOL
