I predicted Down to beat Derry narrowly, and they won by a bit more than I expected. OF the other matches, Donegalman (None) - Posts: 3858 - 03/06/2013 15:20:52 1397677 Link 0 |

Im going to stick with if. Really and truly it is on the day, I have seen too much football to take anything for granted. Donegalman (None) - Posts: 3858 - 03/06/2013 15:31:56 1397690 Link 0 |

Why are we talking about Dublin and Mayo in the "Ulster 2013" thread? bladecx (Monaghan) - Posts: 147 - 07/06/2013 13:41:26 1401154 Link 0 |

I reckon Cavan each way is worth a few bob. They wont win but I reckon they will make the final. white.n.blue (Monaghan) - Posts: 249 - 07/06/2013 15:19:41 1401279 Link 0 |

Shocking game at Casement Park. Poor standard of football between two poor sides. MourneArmy (Down) - Posts: 1787 - 09/06/2013 16:42:57 1402286 Link 0 |

Didn't sound like very inspiring stuff at Casement today, but a win is a win for Monaghan. Very poor return for Antrim, particularly against 14 men. Lets hope Cavan can do the business next week to set up a local derby for the semi final petejoeduff (Donegal) - Posts: 329 - 09/06/2013 17:24:01 1402328 Link 0 |

Good point Macca! I'm prob more biased towards Cavan due to the number of battles they have had in my lifetime, and the recent league clash. However, it will be a real battle no matter who wins petejoeduff (Donegal) - Posts: 329 - 09/06/2013 17:42:16 1402344 Link 0 |

Desperate stuff. What Antrim were at, using their spare man as a defender, when they could only score 0-5 points in 70 minutes of football is beyond me. MuckrossHead (Donegal) - Posts: 5030 - 09/06/2013 18:08:27 1402379 Link 0 |

It's safe to say neither Cavan or Fermanagh will be too worried about facing Monaghan in the semi-final. Though, that's exactly what Monaghan want and I believe they are capable of better than what they showed today. MourneArmy (Down) - Posts: 1787 - 09/06/2013 18:14:59 1402392 Link 0 |

15 v 14 and scoring 5 points, thats madness. But we only managed one more in the AI semi v the Dubs 2 years ago, so its not that far from home! Donegalman (None) - Posts: 3858 - 09/06/2013 18:27:11 1402413 Link 0 |

im sure Monaghan will improve alot for the semi....see venues announced for the semi finals Donegal v Down is in Breffni while Monaghan semi v Cavan/Fermanagh will be in Clones..... macca999 (Fermanagh) - Posts: 1224 - 09/06/2013 18:31:38 1402421 Link 0 |

Shocking stuff in Casement today but the way Antrim ruined the game was terrible.Monagahn will have to improve on that today but im sure they will.Antrim double marked all 3 Monaghan forwrds and took the rest of thier players in to their own half to cover , hence Monaghans 18wides.Monaghan could have won this game by 15 points but left their shooting boots at home.better getting the wides out of the system today and keep the sharp shooting for the next day. bladecx (Monaghan) - Posts: 147 - 09/06/2013 19:03:09 1402459 Link 0 |

Anyone tell me what the price was into Casement yesterday? It's 20 quid into the stand in Brewster on Sunday. Disgraceful considering there is no minor game on. Good to see that Enniskillen Gaels wont go bankrupt anytime soon. gotmilk (Fermanagh) - Posts: 4971 - 10/06/2013 09:55:19 1402707 Link 0 |
