The Ring final should be tied in with a big Leinter/Munster/Ulster game in a venue with a big crowd. Imagine this year's Ulster Football final is between Armagh vs. Derry and somehow the Ring final happened to be between Armagh & Derry, therefore double header in Clones, therefore let it all play out and see how we can perhaps market the competition better instead of getting it out of the way by late May. Derry and Down play June 2nd and maybe Down and Derry may meet in the Ring, it all sounds crazy, but all we need is some foresight and some better planning at HQ

Kildare 1-16 Meath 0-22 (AET)
Christy Ring Cup Round 2B:
Armagh 1-11 Down 1-20
Wicklow 4-19 Mayo 3-10

Meath's was the only surprise of this round. Kildare aren't out of it yet as they and Derry will drop into to round 3 to take on either Down or Wicklow. Kerry and Meath await the round 3 winners in the semi-finals.

I don't think Meath and Kildare can meet again until the final, but not 100% sure.

Kildare vs. Wicklow & Derry vs. Down, don't know who's got home field advantage. Both very close games to call, but should be great encounters.
