Great game today for O'Neill. His last two points were magic. That dummy on Kelly will be a youtube hit but his last point from outside the boot was pure class. In my opinion i think when he's on form he is the best forward in the game.

Always has been the best forward on his day. Even on a poor day he will still contribute a lot. His points today were pure class. Tyrone will miss him badly when he goes.

What is it they say, form is temporary, class is permanent & O'Neill is class.

On top form he's worth the admission fee alone and no defender can live with him. An absolutely sublime footballer who plays the game the way it should; he has that deft touch, drop of the shoulder and low centre of gravity that only great players have like Colm Cooper and Peter Canavan. He STILL is the classiest forward in the game with maybe only Bernard Brogan pushing him for effectiveness to a team.

I actaully thought he had quite a poor game for most of it by his standards. But he just has that bit of magic that seperates him from the rest and he showed that in the last few mins of yesterdays game. What a player!

Kind of agree with you Connollydub, compared to say the Dublin game where a lot of play went through Stevie he was a Bit quieter yesterday, but with the ball he got he really made it count hopefully we can get him a better supply. I remember Stevie coming in against Dublin in 2011 an although the game was gone I think he saw the ball 2 or 3 times and scored each time, I actually thought that was the last time i'd see him play for Tyrone I'm glad I was wrong :-).

Don't think I've ever been up on my feet cheering and opposition player scoring before, but those two points at the end were incredible.

There's not many players that would have even attempted that final one with the outside of the left, never mind actually pull it off.

I was listening to Martin McHugh's co-commentary of the game. His suggestion that there are no players under 30 of the class and calibre of O'Neill is food for thought.

He is a class act, one of the greats, it was like reeling back the years yesterday.
Sublime scores off either foot, a born leader, fitter and stronger than he ever was.
With Stephen O'Neill playing so well, Tyrone are in with a chance this year.
