Well done to Westmeath. Unfortunately didn't get to game as had family function. As said before match I had divided loyalty on this one and was glad to certain extent I was unable to attend. Hard luck to the meath boys.

In all fairness if Westmeath even attempt to appeal that red card it would be a disgrace, the offender in question started that while incident and clearly struck the Meath player, no doubts or questions a straight red card

I'm not claiming to have seen or heard anything, but allegations were made of some sort of racist comments passed before the strike. If this was the case the GAA would surely take this opportunity to show they have a zero tolerance policy on racism. And that's IF there was anything like that involved.

There is an inherent imbalance in the Minor championship. However in relation to the Ulster championship the Ulster Council could remedy that or have they allowed the back door for beaten finalists this year?

Kildare are a very good team and they will go very close if they dont win the AI. But how in God's name was a Meath man allowed ref that game yesterday after the fall out from our win against them the week before?
