The O'Shea brothers putting in a pretty impressive display so far today.

Aidan continues to look like the most complete midfielder in the country. High fielding, ball retention and short, accurate passing, makes it look ridiculously easy.

I thought Cavanagh was a centre?

On his day I'd agree he is the best midfielder in the Country, he tends to be a little inconsistent but to be fair to him this season he has been fairly dominant in every game, he cut out some of the stupid shots today as well. His brother isn't too bad either I suppose...

To think Moran is sitting on the Mayo bench as well, another fantastic midfielder. Huge depth in the Mayo midfield.

As outstanding as Cavanagh is and even though he plays with 9 on his back it is hard to call him a midfielder. Most of his work is done either making runs from deep into the forwards or simply roaming around the half forward line, he very rarely dominates kickouts like O'Shea, Anthony Maher or Neil Gallagher do for example.

Easy pick for this years All-Stars midfield. Cavanagh and O'Shea.

Sean Cavanagh and Aidan O'Shea at the minute, possibly MDMA by the end of September

Anthony Maher of Kerry and Aidan O Shea of Mayo. I would have gone for Aidan Walsh but he got destroyed by Maher in Munster final.

To say Cavanagh and O'Shea are guaranteed all stars is wrong, If MDMC or Maher (is his injury serious?) were to put in 2 big performances from here on in I think they would be well in contention for all stars. McAuely was brilliant yesterday and Maher was outstanding throughtout Munster, especially against Cork. Currently it looks like they will win them though.

Sean Cavanagh and Aidan O'Shea are by far the best at the moment.

take.yer.points, your previous comments about Aiden O'Shea do not seem to make much sense. Totally outplayed Kavanagh today, O'Shea has to be the most improved footballer in Ireland at the moment.

O'Shea over Cavanagh, are you wise?

Oshea is probably a more complete midfielder than cavanagh. But cavanagh is the better footballer. Himself and the gooch are the two outstanding players of their generation.
