He did indeed referee that game last year. But Joe is to Dublin as Howard Webb is to united.

Offside there is no clarifying to be done. In your initial post you said something along the lines of "Its in Choke Park so that rules a Mayo win out", meaning that Mayo cant win in Croker.

Yes, and a couple of posts down from that I explained/clarified but you obviously either haven't seen that or are just continuing to ignore it. Not my problem. Carry on.....

Enjoy life in the basement Division next Spring. Feel free to slag us as much as you please, we can barely hear it all the way up here at the top table of Gaelic Football.

Thanks you for your kind words, I enjoy my football no matter what level it is at so I am sure I can still managed to get excited when we are in Division 4 next year. And may I wish Mayo all the best in the upcoming semi and, should they make it, the final.

Jono, I think the match will be played at very near championship pace again like a few weeks ago, close and tight with some excellent point scoring from both sides and hopefully the same result ;-)

Mayo's target was to stay in div 1 i'm sure they are surprised as anyone that they have semi final. The Dubs have been resting players for the last few league games you can't always switch form on like a light switch. If they score 14-17 points in this game it will probably be enough to reach the final as Mayo are only managing to score 0-13 so far this year.

Interesting analysis Emmet but surely Mayo were the pioneers of a high-pressing strategy last summer against Dublin especially on Cluxtons kick outs. Why do you think they won't attempt that again?

To be fair i think Emmet is saying thats exactly what they will have to do in this game,if they are to win.
Emmet ,I dont think Mannion looks uncomfortable in his role at the moment, in second half against Donegal he was relishing it, and has a great skill of making space for himself and is not afraid to shoot.

I hope there's a good turn out for both games tomorrow. While I'm more a supporter of league's being league's without these finals etc. when we have a championship, the games are on so hopefully the support will be there.

It's hard to luck beyond Dublin for this one. Good test for both teams though. Good games to be playing in ahead of the championship itself.
