Also, as for it being one mans word against another, Im sure the reported bite mark might swing it, dont you?

no I wouldnt agree if the player doesnt come forward and say he did it on purpose, how do we know which player it actualy was?
if nobody saw it you can hardly just suspend a player because mcbrearty said it was a.n. other.they would have to have a DNA test done to determine that he was picking out the correct player at that rate.

Impressions have been taken of the 'bite marks / graze' and have been sent to the team at CSI Miami for forensic investigation!
Detectives at the serious bite/graze unit say they are simply looking for a canniball who likes football and are beginning with examinations of the teeth of Roman Catholic mass goers who recieve holy communion next Sunday whilst they leave the church!

I dont know what club you play for keepherlow but that's shameful what you have just come out with. Since when has biting been part of the fabric of our games, its low, pathetic, and with the risk of infection, downright reckless. This should be condemned across the board, no exceptions.

Dublin County Board should drop the player immediately! Disgusting act and absolutely no justification of it what so ever ........... This unfortunately is not the first time Dublin have been involved in such incidents!!!!!!

Give it up hill16man and stop denying and defending these nasty cowardly acts. Plenty of other stuff going on these days too at inter county level and it will destroy the game if players keep getting away with it. The Dublin lads on here should be shouting the loudest about players wearing their county jerseys bringing shame on its proud tradition. Most of them are but 1 or 2 fellow travellers like you are bringing your county into disrepute.

Ive posted on Dublin Forum already but here goes again , no matter who you are you are entitled to justice , the right to face your accuser , this incident should be investigated throughly , and if proven full weight of punishment available be applied , Id have Preference for individual involved to come forward and man up and save county further embarrassment ,
Dublin GAA upon verifying through their medical team should issue an unreserved apology to both player and Donegal County Board
As for the poster who said its part of he game , I can only assume hes a WUM and should b best ignored in case he's infectious .

That snuf character is posting some ridiculous mince; was he/she told they were funny at one stage? well he/she isn't and just comes across as a fool and a bore. As to the incident keep it to the alleged player in particular, this should not be used as an anti-Dublin excuse; they are no more dirtier or cynical than most other teams. However if as sedico said, this same player has allegedly got previous in this then he should get a long ban. Spitting, biting, vicious slagging and sledging, is this what the game has come to?

Unnatural behaviour, a shocking new low that deserves serious punishment, I find it impossible to even think about joking about this, players biting other players, if an animail such as a dog bit a human said dog could be justifiably destroyed, the football career of the offender in this matter deserves destroying after this, a horrendous act

Fair point Breffni. The media allow the rugby crowd to get away with far worse but then "hoi there", most of the GAAAAA roughnecks didn't go to the same private schools or drink in the same private clubs as them. The media do love to stir it up against the GAA but Croke Park is to blame for that. Instead of standing firm under their own existing rules the GAA has allowed the media to dictate the entire GAA agenda especially when it comes to disciplinary matters. When the media has shouted "jump" Croke Park has often said "How high?".

Look,
The outrage bus has passed and once you condemn it once what more needs to be said?!.....Anyone who hangs about getting their kicks off all the condemnation and outrage is just a 'grief junkie'!

Condem and move on!!

......after the condemnation is said and done then its open season and fair game for a bit of slaggin!!

Anyone remember when CW had the cup of tea thrown at him by a meath supporter?.....It wasnt long before someone asked 'Did the tea have milk and sugar in it!'.....I cracked up laughing!!

Condemn and move on, you grief junkies and outrage riders!!....you know Im right!!

And just to confirm.....'two year ban for the player if proven guilty'!......Look how I have condemned and moved on instead of hanging around a thread looking for fellow 'God Bless Us and Save Us' merchants!!
