Jesus I hope it's not who I think it is from your description CKD? Wish we had Private Message facilities for times like these! I'd say Gavin is furious. Hope McBrearty is ok!

Why the sudden reticence to comment DubbyDave?
Didn't stop you on the Div1 thread.
Dubbydave; "THAT INCIDENT NEVER HAPPENED !!!
its all idol gossip trust me I have that from a good source..."

Methinks it is time you reassessed your good sources

I find it strange a player been bitten at half time and nothing been done no word from management to ref or so forth but time will tell all as I said I don't think its true as I heard from a good source I could be wrong but ill wait for confirmation...

No excuses.Lets see what happens first but those actions have no place in the GAA and as such it's very dissapointing to hear such a story coming from the Dublin camp.

Whoever that was has let himself and the county down.

He's a tough young fella and I'm sure he's fine but at the same time all the best to him... really pee'd off to hear that after such a decent and dogged performace to extract a point from the game!

Desperate. Really desperate

lads dont turn this into an anti dublin thread like so many others have gone the way of,by all means slate the young fella for doing it but dont tar the whole dublin team or supporters with the usual statements we see fly around.like we dont assume all kerry people lie in bed at night thinking about what to wear to the match the next day if their skinny jeans will match there new shoes like paul galvin or that all derry people blow kisses to other men like joe brolly.

Very dissappointed to here this. If this is true the Dublin player has to be banned for at least a year. This carry on has no place in our games.

I'm glad you find it amusing hill16man.

Personally I find it a new low in the GAA. Shocking behaviour!

If its true he should never wear the jersey again. Ever. No excuse no matter what the provocation. Disgusting.

Without naming the player, and going on the info that is out there, would it be accurate to presume the players shares a name with an Irish Cricketer?

Diagracful action, he has let his manager down, he has let his teammates down, he has let dub supporters down and the gaa down, forget about lengthy ban that goes without saying, but also i hope dub management drop him entirely from panel, there has to be a significant approach from dub CB and management that this is not acceptable by anyone. If he did this on night up he'd be infront of a judge

Look, if this is true then it really is a nasty development, however I would expect the Dublin county board to act swiftly and decisively and to severely censure the player involved. There is no need for us to be acting as judge, jury and executioner in this instance, and wouldn't it be nice if this were to be the only thread started on the subject rather than the wave of righteous indignation we have seen when Tyrone or Kerry are involved in any unpleasantness, whether real or perceived. Some posters would do well to take that on board!

Disgraceful incident if it turns out to be true. The player in question should be named, shamed and given a long ban. Between this and spitting incidents it is worrying that such incidents are creeping into the GAA.

Filthy. Player should be banned for life. Im afraid the player might be too high profile to get banned for life!!!
