1365342 well done Cavan 3 in a row is a record to be proud off, but if truth be told the Under 21 Championship is not really that important the donegal players had a training session just before the throw in last night and another one at half time. Jim McGuiness says there was no point in winning and having more games it was more important that players were available for training.
A tactic Tyrone used a couple of weeks ago when Donegal beat them off the park.
I know a good sports psycologist who could help you with your Jimmy fixation. McGuinness I think his name is. You could round up some of the other similarly afflicted posters & get a group discount!!!

You're going to either eat your words or just stay very quiet, for a very long time once Donegal beat Tyrone in Ballybofey at the end of next month.

Afraid not unlike Donegal Tyrone tell it like it is we dont make lame excuses and tyrone always respect all competitions. For all your beating off the park you now find yourselves just like all Ulster counties In the Under 21s beaten. As for a sports psycologist we dont need one, we have a manager who has so far won 3 all ireland senior titles and numerous other titles.

Rahillyman You really do need to lighten up a bit. It's only a game & none of its that important at the end of the day.

Cavan V Cork: Tricky one to call, both teams with different attributes. Both teams have just done a provincial 3-in a row at this level, although it's much easier to win Munster than it is to win Ulster. Cork will have plenty of height and physicality, but they'll have to catch us if they want to hit us ;)
Galway v Kildare: Galway to win and end this silly myth about Kildare being an all conquering force. Everyone underestimates Galway at this level each year.

Get over what? I am looking at things objectively, and all I hear about Kildare is how their u21's are superhuman talents who will beat all in front of them. Oh spare us....

Who is saying it? You don't sensationalize much do you?
Kildare can't help whats written about them. I've seen the papers raving about the three time Ulster Champions Cavan as well.
We're starved of intercounty AI's in Kildare so if you think Kildare fans think we've an all conquering u21 side then you are very much mistaken.
But I'm sure if you keep writing it people will start to believe it. We cetainly don't.

Take a look at the thread from start to finish lad, then take a look at the thread on your own county's page, Kildare being bigged up to the last by posters from and not from Kildare.
Kildare can't help whats written about them. I've seen the papers raving about the three time Ulster Champions Cavan as well. Hardly raving, just pointing out a fact. I have yet to hear of any superhuman effort by the Cavan players in the gym....

Geralization at it's finest, there are plenty of your fans who think yous will walk the AI, as I say, take a look at the respective discussions on the issue.
But I'm sure if you keep writing it people will start to believe it. We cetainly don't. Aye whatever.

Perhaps you'd be good enough to provide me with a link of Kildares superhuman effort in the gym? I'd like to read that. Amazing how gym monkeys can win a Leinster u21 title ain't it.
There have been as many people not saying Kildare will walk the AI as that were saying it. But obviously you'd rather ignore one side and post snide/smart comments instead.
I've said enough on the matter but for the record (see my post above) I think any of the four teams left can win it.

Must be the tightest set of semi-finalists in a long time. You could make a realistic case for any of the 4 teams left going on to win it.

+1
If anything Kildare are the ones without the form. The other three have it. No team stand out for me.

well PP doesn't think all 4 have an equal change Kildare 11/8 Cork 15/8 Galway 7/2
then poor Cavan 6/1 ...relative outsiders

Obviously the bookies are still buying into the hype around this Kildare team, little of which is coming from people within the county...
On a serious note that's a generous offer on Cavan, can't imagine there's too much between any of the counties left but 6/1 seems a bit on the high side.

He'll probably do the same as Padraig Brogan and Martin Carney did when Donegal played Mayo in the league. ;)

I think the book would accurately reflect the provincial finals Cavan were poor at times last night and Cork do have a really good direct ball option. features of the last 4 Ulster final Cavan U21 teams has been really good teamwork, well co-ordinated gameplans and a well balanced team throughout
However some drawbacks...Lacking real star quality, no big standout scoring forward(s), hard to pick out definate standout future senior stars.
Its possible that Cavan are producing a lot of good footballers which will improve things hugely, promotions etc - but not the great players to win senior titles.
