Under 21 Championship

Cork in as favourites now at 10/3 after the knocked Kerry out last week.

Should be a good match tonight between ourselves and Laois. Six of our lads finished the match against Mayo on Saturday, four started with Dowling and Hyland coming on as second half subs, and it's good to see Cribbin and Hurley called into the starting team for tonight.

Laois though will be tough as they've put up some high scores so far, and have an obvious goal threat in their fullforward line.

I can't see Cork winning, Kerry wiped them out at centrefield in the second half last week, major improvement required if they are going to come out of Munster IMO. Looks very open at the moment.

Galway have a few gems in the full forward line, Kelly, Varley and Shane Walsh who will be a great senior county player in years to come. If we had Flynn fit (player of the year in 2011) id give us a better chance, if we can beat mayo saturday, you'd never know.

Mayo, the hottest team to come out of the county since that All Ireland final win some 62 years ago. Running up and down Croagh Patrick for breakfast. Galway will get their arses handed to them on a green and red plate this Saturday.

Should be a great game in Breffni Park tonight with neighbours Cavan and Monaghan. Fancy Cavan but wary of Monaghans big league win over Tyrone. Cavan minus 2 at 6/4. Kildare are my AI choice and should beat a very decent Laois outfit tonight.... Kildare minus 3 4/5.........7/2 the hcp double with PP.

I think the game of the evening is between Cavan and Monaghan. The latter won the Shamrock Cup competition undefeated this year, beat Tyrone twice while Cavan were just edged out in a thrilling Hastings Cup final by Longford who have since beaten champions Dublin in Leinster. This could go either way. I'd have both favourites for Ulster with Tyrone next.

We have our most naturally talented team in years, but Roscommon are still the favorites to win Connacht this year. Galway are missing Flynn and O Griofa so they can scarcely do without those 2 and expect to get anywhere

Love the confidence but there is two sides in Connacht that are more than capable of winning the All Ireland. Mayoforever how is this Mayo U21 team more naturally talented than the last few years? We play Leitrim in our first game and have won back to back minor Connacht title us been favourites is correct but it's how you handle the pressure that comes with it.

Paddy power have a range of markets available for tonight's games.. What players would be a good bet to score a goal? Robbie Smith or Niall Kelly?

Not expecting much from our game with Tyrone tonight. Our record at underage has been pretty dreadful these past few years. Still one never knows!!!
