What gives you that impression? All comments from Dubs are complimentary of Longford - to which I add mine.

There are a few anti-Dub comments from the likes of bosco but sure that's the way some people get their second hand enjoyment :-)

What makes you say that? Haven't seen one sour or bitter comment from a Dub yet! If anything they've been overly congratulatory to Longford. I think it's due to a lot of Dubs gaining a soft spot for Longford teams after their little road trip for the championship opener (06 I think?) where they were lucky to escape with a win! Great game and great atmosphere that day.

Your comment - don't know what that's due to!

Fantastic for Longford, Wouldnt be majorly worried for Dublin, They are youngfellas who will go through the highs and lows in victory and defeat but will learn along the way. You sometimes learn from from defeat than victory. Well deserved by Longford , Wanted it more on the night and you could see what it meant to them afterwards. They have won alot of leinsters in the last few years so i hope they dont win it all out, Would be nice for someone else to win it in my opinion , Like Wexford

Well done to Longford. Any day you beat one of the top underage counties is a good day but this Longford team didn't come from nowhere. Best of luck to them in the next round but there is still serious competition out there.

What an ignorant comment by valley84. I have heard no complaints from any Dublin supporters.

Should Longford be split in 2?

Having seen off the unbeatable, too strong for everyone else Dubs in the Leinster u21 championship last night the question must now be asked, SHOULD LONGFORD BE SPLIT IN 2? Surely if Dublin need to be and Longford beat Dublin then Longford need to be split in 2!!

Shows up that stupid argument for what it was

Well done Longford and best of luck for the remainder of he championship

Well we still have to win a Leinster u-21 championship believe it or not, we lost finals in 2003, 2005 and 2011. this group of players won a Leinster minor in 2010...I think you're confused over 2011, we beat Meath (after they beat Dublin) and then Leinster favourites Westmeath before loosing to Wexford in the final! So maybe you might reconsider hoping for Wexford to win it outright this year!

In two? No way, it has to be four! Longford must be one serious team to beat the most highly rated U21 team of all time : )

There some kind of rated alright....

and u can highlight Paddy Columb, R Keogh & D Mimnagh who also lined out in both !!!

11 players started both which is great continuity and of course the big change, the return from injury for Under 21 of midfielder Paddy Thompson who missed minor in 10 & 11 through injury. They are a serious team.

Thanks KELF, I missed those three lads.

How many of Kildare 2010 minors are now with the current u21's.

Kildare can't be too bad, your big win over the Royals last night would suggest Kildare will be there or there abouts.

2010 Kildare (MFC v Longford) - M Donnellan, M Konstatin, J Byrne, B Egan; M Duke, T Moolick, J Comerford; S Hurley, K Feely; L McGovern, P Cocoman, N Kelly; P Fogarty, P Cribben, F Dowling.

2013 Kildare (U21FC v Meath) - Mark Donnellan,Michael Konstantin,Jonathathan Byrne,Barry Egan,David Hyland,Fergal Conway,Sean Higgins,Thomas Moolick,Daniel Grehan,Liam McGovern,Niall Kelly,Daniel Flynn,Paddy Brophy,Fionn Dowling,Pádraig Fogarty,

9 players stated both games. Paul Cribben and Sean Hurley both came on as substitutes on Wednesday night too and would be likely to start the next day.Kevin Feely would have been a certainty at midfield only for his move to england to play soccer.

If 2010 minor form carries through which it looks like it has there shouldn't be more than a kick of a ball between the 2013 Longford & Kildare u21 teams.

I was at the Longford V Kildare minor match 3 years ago. Firstly, it was in Pearse Park. Kildare were after their 3 game saga with Dublin & were hit by 2 Longford goals in quick succession in the 2nd half. Anyway, we've to beat Wexford & Kildare have to win against Laois before a rematch can happen.

Was there myself. To be honest after beating Dublin we thought they would have been the only team to stop us getting a Leinster. We got a rude awakening though, never recovered from the goals. Won't be taking anything for granted if we meet again and I hope we do.

It'd be massive for Longford to win a Leinster U21 title. We've won two Leinster minor titles in the last few years & lost two U21 finals.

Was at minor game in 2010. Remember a lot of talk about Feely, he singed for Bohs and has sinse gone to Charlton Athletic. Would be interesting Leinster final if it turns out to be Longford v Kildare. Well done to Longford, i worked with the manager Eugene McCormack 30 years ago and he was football mad then, I suppose he has'nt changed?
